Jiang CAI
He was fond of painting and calligraphy when he was young. He studied painting under Chen banding and Chen Shizeng. He was a teaching assistant in the Chinese Painting Research Association. In 1931, he participated in the women's painting and Calligraphy Association founded by He Xiangning. In February 1954, he entered the Shanghai Museum to copy ancient paintings. He retired in 1965. He joined the Museum of literature and history in 1981.
Life experience
Jiangnan Ping is proficient in piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, good at Danqing, industrial flowers, good at plum and rose. In the 14th year of the Republic of China, her "yellow rose" took part in the "Sino Japanese painting joint exhibition" in Tokyo, which was purchased and collected by Japan, printed as a postcard and distributed in Japan. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, her works also participated in the "Lecci World Expo" held in Belgium and won the award. In addition, he created 10 flowers for the Beiping notes compiled by Lu Xun and Zheng Zhenduo. Jiangnan Ping is good at copying ancient paintings. She has copied many famous works for Shanghai Museum, such as the painting of willow crows and wild geese by Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty, the painting of overlapping peaks on the Yanjiang River by Wang Mi of Song Dynasty, and the painting of spring deep and tall trees by Ming Dynasty. She has made great contributions to the protection of cultural relics. In 1958, she donated Chen Shizeng's Mozhu to Shanghai Museum.
