Zhu lie
Zhu lie of Jiangsu Province, who studied hard when he was a child, finally became a great calligrapher. In addition, there is Zhu lie of Wenzhou.
brief introduction
Zhu lie was born in December 1914 in Panshi Town, Yueqing, Wenzhou. At the age of 16, due to his father's death, he had to drop out of Wenzhou Middle School in order to live. Since then, he has been studying hard. He used to teach in Yueqing Baixiang primary school. On the eve of the founding of new China, Zhu Zheng, the principal of Jianhua middle school (now experimental middle school), introduced him to teach in Jianhua middle school. After liberation, he successively taught geography in Wenzhou Middle School, Wenzhou No.3 middle school and Wenzhou No.5 Middle School, and served as the executive director of Wenzhou geography society. Mr. Zhu lie has studied literature, history, geography and biology, and is proficient in English and Latin through self-study. He can read Japanese, French and Russian. He is known as "Encyclopedia" and enjoys a high reputation in Wenzhou education circle. He retired from Wenzhou No.5 Middle School in 1981. He read extensively and studied rigorously, covering a wide range, especially in the study of Wenzhou's geography and history. In order to explore the landform of Yandang Mountain, he went to Yandang Mountain three times, waded mountains and rivers, lived in the open air, and wrote the paper "preliminary study on the geography of Yandang Mountain"; in order to explore the phenological characteristics of Wenzhou, he observed and recorded the changes of animals and plants for decades, and wrote a paper of great academic value; in order to study the laws of Typhoon Affecting Wenzhou, he has recorded the direction of typhoon every year since the 1960s It took more than 30 years to draw the typhoon path map until the 1990s.
work
He has participated in the compilation of the dictionary of ancient and modern Chinese characters, the dictionary of modern Chinese, and the chronicles of Wenzhou City. There are also his works on natural environment.
evaluate
In Wenzhou educational circles, everyone knows about Mr. Zhu lie. I heard his name when I was in middle school. In the eyes of Zhu Xuexin, Mr. Zhu's daughter, his father is simply old and worried about whether Mr. Zhu can accept my interview. However, when I met Mr. Zhu, he was so spiritual in his old age. Mr. Zhu is not tall. His cyan T-shirt is clean and well dressed. Even his buttons are neatly buttoned. It's very decent. Although it is a head of white hair, but Qingzhen's face is still so smooth and moist, it does not look like an old man who is already 90 years old, but only 70 years old. But his ears are a little hard to hear. When he speaks, he must raise his voice before he can hear clearly. However, when he hears clearly, he still talks and laughs and dances when he is happy, showing the innocence of a naughty boy, which is very lovely. At the moment, I thought to myself, "is old Zhu really old? It's true that he is a healthy old man in Zhejiang Province. Mr. Zhu lie has been living in the military uniform Bureau of square road, quiet alleys, spacious courtyards, and his library with rich books. He is as if he is bathed in the fragrance of books. Zhu Xuexin said: my father is addicted to books. In the past, almost half of his salary was spent on buying books, so that the salesmen of Xinhua Bookstore recognized him and provided him with new book information from time to time. Every time he bought a good book, he seemed to get a treasure. He was so elated and couldn't put it down. During the "Cultural Revolution", the fire caused by fighting endangered his family's house. The first thing he had to protect was books. According to his mother, in order to avoid the Japanese plane bombing during the Anti Japanese War, he hid his beloved books in the well of his hometown. The love of books is Mr. Zhu's hobby. Books open up a world of knowledge for Mr. Zhu. With books as a companion, Mr. Zhu has gradually become a knowledgeable scholar from a young man with a junior high school diploma. Zhu lie introduced the study of lunar calendar, which has a long history in China. As early as the Zhou and Qin Dynasties, there were records of phenology in Xia Xiaozheng and LV's spring and Autumn Annals. These documents summarize the relationship between the solar term, animal and plant ecology and agricultural time at that time. In terms of modern scientific concepts, the study of lunar calendar includes climatology and phenology. The content of climatology is to observe and record the changes of cold, warm, sunny and rainy weather in a place, and to deduce its causes and trends; the content of phenology is to record the growth and decline of plants and the birth and death of animals in a year, so as to understand the climate and its impact on animals and plants. My "Wenzhou moon order" was written in 1963, which only made a preliminary exploration on the climate and phenology of Wenzhou. Among them, phenology has only two-year records, which can not be used as a scientific basis. Moreover, it is close to mechanical to take one thing as a reality. On Wenzhou phenology, written in 1981, is a little more solid. I sorted out and analyzed the phenological observation records of 18 years, and preliminarily divided the Phenological Seasons.
Observation record
Zhu lie had the habit of keeping a diary. He began to measure and record the temperature every day when he was young. Zhu lie's phenological observation began in 1960. At that time, governments at all levels attached great importance to the combination of geography and agricultural production, which was just in Zhu lie's interest, so they began to observe and record. Zhu lie chose Zhongshan Park and the campus of Wenzhou No.5 Middle School as the main observation sites. The earth coordinates of meteorological and biological observation sites are 120 ° 40 ′ e, 28 ° 0 ′ N and 4.8 m above sea level. In fact, phenological observation needs a stable environment. In the middle of the cultural revolution, there was chaos. The only female weeping willow in Zhongshan Park was cut down, and the observation records could not continue. In 1978, Zhu lie interrupted the observation record of 18 years. Zhu lie said that meteorological observation should be recorded every day, but phenology is not needed. However, its accuracy and standard requirements are relatively high, which is difficult, but also enjoyable. According to the phenological observation, Wenzhou has a long summer and a short winter. Although autumn is the shortest season in Wenzhou, it is the best season of the year with a clear sky and pleasant climate, which is better than spring. The winter in Wenzhou begins after the heavy snow solar term, and it is not very cold. The daily minimum temperature is lower than 0 ° C, which starts on January 6 and ends on February 12 on average, only 38 days. In Wenzhou, weeping willow germinated as early as February 14 and as late as March 14, with an average of February 28. The weeping willow in Ruian is different from that in Yueqing. Ruian is one or two days earlier than Yueqing. Zhu lie's records provide true and reliable information for overall and local scientific research, and can also be compared with folk or historical records. For example, "Wanli Wenzhou Fu Zhi" mentioned a kind of wind infatuated grass, "it is said that when its leaves are broken, wind infatuated once, two or three like it, and native people always occupy it." "Ruian county annals" says that Fengchi grass "grows in the mountains, and its leaves are like Indocalamus. People know the number of times of wind and the number of times after wind according to the cutting of leaves every year." Wenzhou is an area with more typhoon activities. It is urgent for local people to predict typhoon activities. Fengchi grass, also known as thrush grass, is a perennial herb of thrush grass in Gramineae. The so-called leaf folding or cutting refers to the ordinal number of leaves on the pedicel. In the winter of 1981, Zhu lie was invited to attend the National Symposium on phenology held in Beijing and read out the article on phenology in Wenzhou, which was well received. At the same time, Zhu lie's academic research also attracted the attention of Zhu Kezhen, a famous scientist. Since then, Wenzhou has become one of the two national phenological observation bases in Zhejiang Province. Zhu lie is interested in the study of typhoons and pays close attention to every Typhoon news. As for the historical records of typhoons, Zhu lie sorted them out according to the records in the county annals and government annals of the past dynasties. The earliest record of typhoon in Wenzhou history is 392 A.D., the 17th year of the Jin Dynasty, which is called "hurricane". Since then, there has been a lot of history, and the more recent it is, the more detailed it is. Zhu lie began to record in the 1960s that he had to do it without high-tech equipment. At that time, Zhu lie relied on his hands, ears and eyes. The hand is to record by hand; the ear is to listen to the radio. At that time, there was no radio, and Julie pricked up his ears to listen; the eye is to observe the clouds in the sky. Then the typhoon path map is drawn according to the information. Later, it was convenient to have TV, but there was no typhoon path map on TV in the early 1990s. So, the track of typhoon Zhu lie looks a little fresh.
