Wen Dian
Wendian (1633-1704), also known as Yuye, is a native of Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu). He is the great grandson of Wen Peng, the son of the famous painter Wen Zhengming in Ming Dynasty. He was a famous calligrapher and painter in the early Qing Dynasty.
He is good at calligraphy and painting. Mountains and rivers can convey the family law of Ming Dynasty. They are delicate in writing, blurred in color and covered with ink. He is also a good character, especially a short sketch of pine and bamboo. His brush and ink are very elegant, and his body is a little loose. When people play, they say, "Wen Dian song, Wen Yi Wen, Dian Yi Dian." Qing Jie does not seek fame. The capital of China, people want to be recommended by Dr. Guozi. When his father died, he lived in the tomb field, abandoned his son's business, and entertained himself with books and paintings. He died 72 years ago. We are gathering in the south.
