Zhang Qian
Zhang Qian (1897-1987) was born on January 14, 1897 (December 12, Guangxu 22, Qing Dynasty). Hebei Zhaoxian people, word Fubo. He graduated from the ninth artillery section of Baoding military academy and the fifth special class of Army University.
Life of the characters
In June 1928, he became the commander of the 9th artillery regiment of the artillery headquarters of the 3rd group army (commander in chief Yan Xishan) (commander in chief Zhou DAI). In March 1931, his headquarters was renamed the 29th independent artillery regiment, and he was still the captain. On May 11, 1935, he served as an artillery colonel of the Syrian army. In July 1940, he was admitted to the fifth special class of Army University for further study. After graduating from Lu University in July 1942, he was appointed as the senior staff officer of major general of the military command department (Minister). On August 19, 1943, Jin was appointed major general of the army. In January 1944, he was transferred to the post of major general and deputy chief of staff of the deputy commander of the eighth theater (Fu Zuoyi, deputy commander). in August 1945, the headquarters was reorganized into the command headquarters of the 12th theater of War (commander Fu Zuoyi), still serving as major general and deputy chief of staff. On July 9, 1946, he was awarded the fourth cloud flag medal. He was awarded the medal of loyalty on the 11th of the same month. He was awarded the medal of victory on October 10. In March 1947, Zhang Yuan's headquarters was reorganized into Zhang Yuan's appeasement Office (Director Fu Zuoyi), and he was still the deputy chief of staff of the major general. In May, he was promoted to deputy director of general Dong Qiwu of the command post of the PLA in Suiyuan. In December, he was transferred to the post of lieutenant general and deputy commander of Suiyuan provincial security command (concurrently commander Dong Qiwu). in may 1948, he was transferred to be commander in chief of Guisui garrison headquarters. On September 19, 1949, he led an uprising in Suiyuan. In January 1950, he became commander of Guisui garrison headquarters of the people's Liberation Army. He was transferred to senior staff officer of suimeng military region (commander Ulanf) in August 1952. On September 7, suimeng military region was renamed as Mengsui military region (commander Ulan Fu), still serving as senior staff officer. In March 1954, after he changed his job, he became a counsellor of the counsellor's Office (director Boyan Mandu) of the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (Chairman Ulanf). in December 1977, he was elected member of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (Chairman you Taizhong) of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. died of illness in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia in 1987.
