Zhu Shaoping
Zhu Shaoping (1882-1942), born in Shanghai in 1882, went to Japan to study in his early years and joined the Chinese League. In 1912, at the invitation of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, he went to the Xiangzu presidential palace in Nanjing as secretary. In 1916, he was the director general of the global society. During the Anti Japanese War, Zhu Shaoping served as the consul of the national government's Consulate General in Manila. After the Pearl Harbor incident, the Japanese army occupied Manila and forced the Chinese Consulate General to urge the Chongqing government to "make peace" with Japan and announce the recognition of the puppet government of Nanjing. It also asked the Consulate General to organize overseas Chinese to raise huge donations for the Japanese authorities. None of the nine diplomats, including Zhu Shaoping of the Chinese consulate general, gave in and severely rejected Japan's unreasonable demands. The Japanese aggressors became angry and arrested Zhu Shaoping and others, tortured them and finally killed them. On July 7, 1947, Zhu Shaoping's remains were transported back to China and buried in Nanjing.
Life of the characters
Anti Qing revolution
Zhu Shaoping, born on December 2, 1882, studied in Nanyang middle school as a child. After graduation, he taught in his alma mater and went to Japan to study.
He joined the Chinese League in 1905. Soon after, the Japanese government issued the rules of banning foreign students in an attempt to assist the Qing government in strangling the revolutionary activities of foreign students. This unreasonable decision aroused strong opposition from Chinese students. In the winter of 1906, Zhu Shaoping returned home under the advocacy of Qiu Jin and Chen Tianhua and organized a Chinese public school in Shanghai. Because of the exclusion of Jiangsu people from Chinese public schools, he and Gao Xu established Jianxing public school. Jianxing public school is actually the peripheral organization of Jiangsu Branch of the alliance. The branch office is located in "Xiayu" behind Jianxing public school, and Zhu Shaoping is the "sitting office" of "Xiayu".
In 1907, the Qing government closed down Jianxing public school because of the traitor's information. Zhu Shaoping was also wanted and could not be transferred to underground activities. At the invitation of Yu Youren, he helped him to establish Shenzhou daily, minhu daily, minxu daily and Minli daily. At the same time, he participated in the preparatory work of the revolutionary literature group "Nanshe".
In November 1909, when Nanshe was officially established in Suzhou Hukou Zhanggong temple, Zhu Shaoping was one of the 17 "Heroes" who attended the meeting. He was elected as an accountant, but actually helped Liu Yazi, the Secretary, to take charge of the meeting affairs. During the Wuchang Uprising, Zhu Shaoping was entrusted to organize "iron pen" and "alarm" in Shanghai, which was popular with readers because of its true and fast news.
In 1912, the provisional government of the Republic of China was established, and Zhu Shaoping was invited by Sun Yat Sen to be the Secretary of the president. Soon after, the north and the South negotiated peace, Sun Yat Sen resigned, and Zhu Shaoping returned to Shanghai. He founded the Pacific daily with his friends of the south society, took up the post of manager, and worked in life daily, China Daily, etc. They publicized democratic politics and opposed Yuan Shikai's restoration activities.
Help stay in France
In 1916, Zhu Shaoping was invited to serve as the director general of Huanqiu Chinese Student Union in Shanghai for 20 years. The work study movement in France coincided with Zhu Shaoping's tenure. He has done a lot of work for studying abroad. Even for the trivial matters such as booking tickets, the Huanqiu Chinese Student Union has done it meticulously. In the archives of the Chinese French Education Association collected by the Museum of Chinese revolution, there are also three letters from Mr. Zhu Shaoping to Shen Liang (Zhong Jun), the director of the Chinese French Education Association. The contents are as follows: (1) Mr. Zhong Jun's great lesson: in the morning, he promised to buy a cabin for Zhou huangjun! I'd like to introduce you in a special letter from Mr. Zhou. Please contact me immediately. On October 17 (2), Mr. Zhong Jun said: This is Yao Shaoyu, a student from Zhejiang Province, who is planning to study in France. He has to give you detailed instructions on the shipping space and other procedures. Please give me a special introduction. I'd like to contact you immediately. This is to invite Mr. Zhu shaopingqi of the Public Security Bureau on October 28 (3) deacon Mr. Zhong Jun: This is to certify that Mr. Yang Ruijun joined your association when Mr. Hong bingduan was in charge. He once went to Hangzhou to study in France, but now he wants to study in France. Zhao zhonghuajun, who graduated from Zhuji county middle school in Zhejiang Province, was able to pay 600 Chinese yuan for himself to go to France to study French. He also begged for a seat. In honor of Zhu Shaoping, the three letters of credit on November 24, written in pen and paper, are precious.
It is because the Chinese students' Union of Huanqiu "has the true sincerity in handling affairs, sparing no effort to help us, although the trivial matters are not unknown as guidance", and the Director General Zhu Shaoping "has beautiful demeanor, like a willow in spring, in a suit, proficient in English, and capable in handling affairs",
Naturally, it is easy to win the praise of the students who work in France. The affairs of the Chinese students' Union of Huanqiu are also expanding day by day. It has successively set up such businesses as assisting domestic famous universities to recruit students in Shanghai, and introducing jobs to returned students. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese war in 1937, Zhu Shaoping, Liu zhanen and Lin Yutang formed the International Friendship Society. Because the English publication echo published the report and photos of the Nanjing Massacre of the Japanese invaders, they angered the Japanese military headquarters. Liu zhanen was assassinated and Zhu Shaoping's apartment was thrown with grenades. Zhu Shaoping left Hong Kong and was appointed consul to the Philippines. On April 17, 1942, he was killed by Japanese aggressors.

Chen Yi encouraged Zhu Qing to go home to have a look and told her to use the opportunity to get in touch with the society and understand the public's opinions and demands on the government.
Before the Qingming Festival in 1950, Zhu Qing's family was going to Nanjing chrysanthemum terrace to sweep his father's tomb. Zhu Qing asked Chen Yi if she could go. Chen Yi said, "why can't you go? Your father is a martyr to maintain his national integrity in the face of the Japanese invading army. He should go. "
