Zhang Bingyang? ——(1833) from dianzikou, Tainan, Taiwan. The leader of the popular uprising in Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty.
In the summer of 1832, when the drought was severe and Shao Yongzhi, the magistrate of Chiayi County in the Qing Dynasty, had no way to deal with the problem, Zhang Bing, the leader of the peasants, set up a banner uprising in October of the same year and occupied most of the counties and cities in Tainan County and douliumen area in Yunlin. He called himself the Grand Marshal of the founding of the country and gathered tens of thousands of people to attack the salt water port. During the uprising, he became the magistrate of the Qing Dynasty, LV Zhiheng, the General Zhu Guozhen, and the deputy general Zhou Chengen Waiting for death. At that time, the Qing government was not able to govern Taiwan. Zhang Bing, Fengshan and Changhua had Xu Cheng and Huang Cheng leading the public to revolt against the government. However, because Zhang Bingjiu attacked Jiayi for a long time, and Wang Delu, Liu Tingbin and others countered, the turmoil gradually leveled off. In December of the same year, Zhang Bing and his subordinates were arrested for failure. In January of the next year, the Qing Dynasty executed Zhang Bing and hundreds of his subordinates. The uprising failed.
