Shaming
Sha Ming (1935.05-2013.09.29), male, from Yining, Xinjiang, is a member of the Communist Party of China and vice chairman of the seventh Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. At 7 a.m. Beijing time on September 29, 2013, comrade Sha Ming died of illness in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China, at the age of 78.
Personal resume
He began to work in November 1952 and joined the Communist Party of China in January 1953. He studied in Xinjiang University in November 1950. In March 1951, he studied in Northwest Institute for nationalities. In April 1953, he remained as a translator, secretary and deputy section chief of Northwest Institute for nationalities, deputy secretary of the general Party branch of railway department and language department, and member of the Party committee of the Institute. In July 1967, he worked in the May 7th Cadre School of Northwest Institute for nationalities. in March 1969, he served as deputy leader and group leader of propaganda group and political work group of Northwest University for nationalities. In June 1970, he was transferred to the deputy head of the Uyghur language group of the Ministry of nationalities of the Central People's radio. In May 1973, he served as deputy director, director and Party branch secretary of the Ethnic Affairs Department of the Central People's radio. In January 1984, he served as deputy director of the Nationalities Committee of the Standing Committee of the people's Congress of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In July 1986, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Party group and director of the Department of radio, film and television of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In January 1993, he was elected vice chairman of the 7th CPPCC Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and concurrently served as Deputy Secretary of the Party group and director of the Department of radio, film and television of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In February 1998, he served as secretary of the Party group and deputy director of the radio, film and Television Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. retired in June 2004.
Social evaluation
During his tenure as deputy director of the ethnic Committee of the Standing Committee of the people's Congress of the autonomous region, comrade Sha Ming often went deep into the grassroots to carry out investigation and research, to understand the current situation of ethnic work in Xinjiang, and put forward many constructive suggestions, which were affirmed by the party Committee of the autonomous region. as the main leader of the radio, film and Television Department of the autonomous region, comrade Sha Ming took accelerating the development of radio, film and television in Xinjiang as his own responsibility, went to pastoral areas, Gobi and plateau, extensively collected first-hand information, and actively won the concern and support from all sides. The whole region has successively achieved the goal of broadcasting in five languages, broadcasting TV programs in three languages by satellite, and broadcasting TV to every village with electricity. It has built up satellite radio and TV uplink stations with the most languages and advanced technology in China. Xinjiang people's Radio and Xinjiang TV station have also become one of the provincial (regional) stations with the most languages and the longest broadcasting time in the country. during his tenure as vice chairman of the CPPCC of the autonomous region, comrade Sha Ming set an example, took the lead, actively participated in and discussed government affairs, put forward reasonable suggestions to the Party committee and government of the autonomous region, and made positive contributions to the reform, development and stability of the region.
