Wang yu'e, female, was born in October 1939 in Jiaojiang City, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from Taizhou Agricultural School in 1959.

At present, he is an associate researcher of Qinghai Academy of agriculture and Forestry Sciences, deputy director of Plant Protection Institute, and vice director of plant protection branch of Qinghai Academy of agriculture and Forestry Sciences. Wang yu'e has been engaged in potato research for a long time. Potato virus species in Qinghai Province were identified by indicator plant method, tissue culture virus-free technology was introduced, mini seed potato production method was developed, and the basic work of Potato Virus-free technology system construction in Qinghai Province was completed. He also participated in the breeding of "plateau 8" potato variety, and presided over and completed the research work of "potato virus-free micro seed potato production base construction and application", "potato seed base construction in Qinghai Province". He is the director of the project office of "potato development in Qinghai Province" assisted by EC. He has won 3 second and third prizes of provincial science and technology progress and 2 excellent thesis awards. He has published more than 20 papers (including 2 published in the Journal) and co edited two monographs, potato virus free and potato seed production in China. Enjoy special government allowance.
