Jiao Bo, male, Han nationality, CPC member, was born in Boshan District, Zibo City, Shandong Province in January 1956. He has a college degree and senior research title. He was a photographer of Zibo daily and overseas edition of people's daily. He is now working in the Information Office of the State Council and is the artistic director of the photo gallery of the Information Office of the State Council.

In December 2019, in the "Commemoration of the 180th anniversary of the birth of photography" activity held by the International Federation of film arts, COMEY municipal government and Daguerre foundation in COMEY, France, focal wave was selected as one of the 180 people of 180 years of the birth of photography.

Main works

The main works include the picture album "my father and my mother" (Chinese, English, German, French and Korean versions), the picture and text collection version "my father and my mother", the prose collection "my father and my mother", the picture album "yesterday's moment", "25000 Li Lyric", "Chinese people's stories", "foreigners in China", "Wenchuan orphans", etc.

In 1974, he began to take pictures of his parents with his camera. In 1999, he began to use the camera to record videos for his parents. For 30 years, he took more than 12000 photos for his parents, recording for more than 600 hours, and finally realized the original intention of "using the camera to keep my parents". In December 1998, Jiao Bo's parents cut the ribbon for the "my father and my mother" photo exhibition held in the China Art Museum. It was praised by the media as "moving the capital and making a sensation all over the country. It is the only film exhibition that makes people cry in recent years". The audience left a message: "Jiao Bo, you have done something that thousands of children want to do but have not done. You have stirred the most fragile string in people's hearts.".
