Yang Wenyi
Yang Wenyi, born in Shanghai in January 1972, is a former member of China National Swimming Team.
In 1978, 6-year-old Yang Wenyi entered the swimming class of Shanghai sports club to learn swimming. He was selected into the national swimming team in 1986. In 1988, she broke the world record of 50 meter freestyle with a time of 24.98 seconds in the third Asian Swimming Championships. In the same year, she won the silver medal of women's 50 meter freestyle in Seoul Olympic Games. Early experience
In 1978, 6-year-old Yang Wenyi entered the swimming class of Shanghai Sports Club and began to learn swimming. During his study in Shanghai, Yang Wenyi broke the national record of juvenile age group 18 times. Sports career

Personal life
Yang Wenyi's father loves sports and is a sports collector. His mother once played professional softball. His brother was a member of the National Youth Fencing Team. after his retirement, Yang Wenyi lives in the United States. Her husband is a Chinese American.
