Chen Yaning

Chen Ya Ning, male, born in 1958, researcher, doctoral supervisor, graduated from Northwest University in 1999 with a doctorate. At present, he is the director of State Key Laboratory of desert and Oasis Ecology (Xinjiang Institute of ecology and geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences), the director of Key Laboratory of oasis ecology and desert environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the director of oasis ecology and oasis agriculture research office, Xinjiang Institute of ecology and geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and 973 chief scientist. He is also the deputy director of ecological hydrology Committee of Chinese ecological society, the deputy director of physical geography Committee of Chinese geographical society, the deputy director of Xinjiang ecological society, the member of International Water Conservancy Association, the deputy chief editor of arid area geography and the editorial board member of Acta geographica.

In May 2017, it won the National Innovation Competition Award.

Personal achievements

He has successively presided over and completed more than 20 projects, including the national 973 program, the national science and technology support program, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the key projects of the knowledge innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. More than 280 papers have been published, more than 100 papers have been searched by SCI, 10 monographs have been edited, and 8 national patents have been applied.
