Xie Yafang graduated from Chongguang women's Middle School of Soochow University and studied in the music experimental class of Xiushan Primary School of Fuhe high school.

After working in two smaller TV stations for two years, Yafang became a reporter for Taiwan TV, one of the most authoritative "old three" stations in Taiwan. Not long after Xie Yafang arrived at CCTV, on the other side of the Strait, a TV station called Phoenix Satellite TV is preparing to build an all-weather 24-hour information channel, and is looking for suitable news anchors everywhere. Xie Yafang was secretly recommended by the reporter of Phoenix Station in Taiwan at this time.

In the middle of December 2000, Yafang started a new challenge in Hong Kong alone. It was only one month since Phoenix Satellite TV first came into contact with her.

In 2005, Yafang led all the people in Fenghuang to attend EMBA, becoming the first Taiwan student in the EMBA course of Changjiang business school. "I've been in this environment for a long time. In 2008, Yafang married her boyfriend who had known each other for ten years and loved each other for seven years. She wrote the above words in her wedding invitation.

Yafang's love is another legend. My husband came from an overseas Chinese family in Indonesia. When he was young, he studied abroad. His family moved several times. He has worked in the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong. During his one-year work in Taiwan Province, he met Yafang, but only once. I didn't expect that two years later, both of them met again because of their long working relationship in Hong Kong, and started a seven-year "game".

When Yafang got married, the title of "female anchor married a bank clerk" was written in the media. After verifying with Yafang, we found out that her husband is actually a "young talent" who graduated from Imperial College of London University and obtained a master's degree in finance from Columbia University. He is engaged in investment banking in Hong Kong. Yafang said with a smile that her husband was very low-key. Even the day before her marriage, many colleagues didn't know what her husband did.

Her husband, who studies science and engineering, is often "loathed" by Yafang. However, on her birthday, she borrows her friend's golden hound to play with her. When Yafang is away, she secretly changes the curtains of her home into shading cloth, so that she can have a good "daydream" after night shift. Husband with considerate and gentle, moisten things silently accompany Yafang for seven years, finally become the fruit. In 2012, Xie Yafang visited "very reliable" and chatted about the past of "old Wang Xie". She said that her grandfather Xie Jinjun was a famous "ever victorious general" in the late Qing Dynasty and was once named "Guocai" by the emperor.
