Kong Xiangming was born in a go family. His father Kong Fanzhang is a coach of Chengdu youth amateur chess school. Influenced by her childhood, she had a strong interest in the black-and-white world of tattoos. When she was 7 years old, her father formally taught her to learn chess. After that, she often got enthusiastic guidance from several go masters in Chengdu, which laid a solid foundation for her future go career. Kong Xiangming is a reserved and introverted man, but his chess style is fierce and sharp. Due to the accurate calculation, flexible response, especially strong and good at fighting, they can often win the match by surprise. After 1973, she entered the national go training team and became more strict with herself. She studied hard and soon became an excellent chess player. In 1978, she won the first national women's Go Championship with 15 wins. In 1979, she won the women's go individual gold medal in the Fourth National Games. This year, her Sichuan women's go team was awarded the award of "climbing the peak sports team" by the State Sports Commission. She won all three battles and was called "the number one woman in the world in fact" by Japanese chess circles. At the end of the year, she won the first place in the go Invitational Competition of the new year in London. In 1980, Kong Xiangming defeated Japan's 9-stage player Nan Shanji, the first Chinese female player to win Japan's 9-stage game. In 1985, the Sino Japanese Challenge competition began, which not only wrote the history of Chinese go, but also changed Nie Weiping's fate. No one thought that this also changed the direction of kongnie's marriage. According to Kong Xiangming's recollection, from the first challenge arena competition, she found out the chess scores of all the opponents she could find, collected and transcribed them together, played them all by herself, got the experience, and then put forward suggestions to Nie Weiping. They will repeatedly study a move in the middle of the night; they will repeatedly practice a certain layout; they will find out the rules of the opponent's move from countless chess games; they will infer the opponent's psychology from the opponent's recent achievements and favorite moves; they will step up preparation for their own shortcomings; they will motivate themselves for the strength of the opponent, and so on. Nie Weiping did his best. He has won 11 games in a row and won three times of challenge arena competitions. The tide of praise and congratulation has turned a chess player into a saint. Interview, publicity, report, beautiful flowers and their favorite, when Nie Weiping had not fully play chess, he was inundated by sugar water. "I couldn't hold Nie Weiping's hand before the strong impact of the social torrent. The wonderful world outside has relaxed Nie Weiping's fighting spirit, and his enthusiasm for all kinds of social activities has made his training a timely decoration. His vanity, his sense of achievement, his hobbies and desires have been greatly satisfied. He is far away from chess day by day. My painstaking and repeated preaching was the most annoying noise to him. He gradually became intolerant of my advice and tried to avoid us together. " when Nie Weiping finally competed with Lin Haifeng in the final of Fujitsu cup, he didn't come back all night. Kong Xiangming was worried in his anxiety, angry in his anger, and had too much dissatisfaction in his heart, which poured out. "That's what he said. Not only did I not awaken his enterprising spirit, but it backfired and made him hate me even more. " there are too many differences, but the quarrel is shrinking, fading and disappearing, and they finally break up. Kong Xiangming also regretted that Nie Weiping's chess talent had not been fully discovered. He left the professional chess world and returned to China in 2001. Won the first national champion in 2012. take part in the national go women's team competition in 2019. Kong Xiangming, a 64 year old female chess player, led the Wufeng women's go team of Chengdu sports team to sing all the way. With a remarkable record of 6-1 in 7 games and 12 points, she not only filled the gap of lacking women's go in the top three first-class leagues in Chengdu, but also set the national record of the oldest age to participate in women's Weiqi professional competition.
Personal life
marriage
Kong Xiangming and Nie Weiping registered their marriage at Chunxi Road office in Chengdu in the autumn of 1979. At that time, Nie Weiping's registered permanent residence was in Heilongjiang and her registered permanent residence was in Chengdu. They were unable to apply for a house in Beijing and usually lived in the dormitory of the national team. On their honeymoon, they spent all their time playing go. Although life is monotonous, it is warm, full and sweet. After his marriage, Kong Xiangming overcame his competitive spirit. Like all housewives, he learned to do housework. He even didn't need Nie Weiping to pour boiling water and wash handkerchief. Slowly, the axis of Kong Xiangming's life revolved around Nie Weiping alone. Kong Xiangming has been doing this for many years. "Although I was still outstanding and in my prime at that time, I am very clear that Nie Weiping's chess talent is much better than me, and his chances of success are much more than me. Therefore, I am willing to give up myself and try my best to help him. However, I have neglected a fundamental problem - when I gave up myself, I began to give up the relationship between two people. Later, I realized painfully that Nie Weiping's success was Nie Weiping's success, and my failure was my failure. The contrast between success and failure is the distance between us. " With the involvement of his family and son, Kong Xiangming showed relatively little concern for Nie Weiping. "The more time he spent alone I'm not beautiful at all. I don't pay attention to clothes after I get married and have children. I let him face a disheveled head and a tired and yellow face all day. I lack passion and enthusiasm. It's understandable that a woman like me, who only knows how to worry about and deal with all kinds of chores and family affairs endlessly every day, is lonely. "
Marriage breakdown
In 1991, her marriage with Nie Weiping came to an end. So she went to Fusang for 11 years. Although she had been to Japan before, she went there as a chess player, and there was no problem in all aspects. This time, she had to find a job to support herself. After that, she picked up her son, who was less than 10 years old, from Beijing. When she left Beijing for Tokyo alone, in a hurry, she only applied for a three-month visa. During these three months, she had to find a guarantor who could give her a long-term visa; she had to find a language school to study Japanese, but all the language schools in Japan stipulated that students should not be over 30 years old, but Kong Xiangming was 36 years old at that time. "Whenever I go back to my house alone with tired steps, I feel helpless and confused. It's really suffocating. But I can't shrink back, let alone lose heart. No matter how hard it is, I will try my best. At the dawn, I went out again At that time, I was more than 30 years old. My youth died early, and my body and mind were no longer young. But I had to start from scratch in society for survival and life. That kind of hardship and hardship really has a different taste in mind. " 11 years later, Kong Xiangming recalled his almost hopeless experience.
Life after divorce
After being introduced by a good friend, Kong Xiangming finally found the job of guiding chess. However, because he was a newcomer, he often got nothing after playing chess for a day. Some people gave her an empty envelope after receiving the guidance and explained, "although there is no money in it, please accept my intention." Reading is also very difficult. There is no need to talk about attendance every day. Every day there is a small exam, three days there is a high school exam, one week there is a big exam, and after school there is a lot of homework. It seems that people will not stop if they don't stir up their brains like a paste. Kong Xiangming, 36, can't compete with young people. All she can do is to be patient and work hard to make her achievements not lag behind others. Fortunately, Kong Xiangming met many kind-hearted people in her later life and helped her solve a lot of difficult problems such as long-term visa and work. In 1992, she took Kong Lingwen to Tokyo. Since then, one person's wandering has become two people's dependence. It was not until four or five years after Kong Xiangming and his son came to Japan that their situation improved a lot. young Kong Lingwen can't speak Japanese and is bullied. His inner depression and resentment accumulated too early, and his desire for strength and his mother's helplessness caused him many troubles when he was young. He wants to prove his growth, but in fact he is still so weak. At the age of 16, Kong Lingwen made the most important decision in his life. He wanted to give up his studies and pursue a career in go
