Zhou Gan
Zhou Gan (1878-1931) was named Jingxi and ZhangJin. Dadu village, Shapu, Qingtian. You learn poetry and books. In 1905, he was admitted to the sixth artillery division of Zhejiang Wubei Academy. In 1906, he joined the restoration society and later joined the alliance society through Qiu Jin's introduction.
He graduated in 1907 and served as the second platoon leader of Zhejiang new army. In 1911, when the revolution of 1911 broke out, he led his troops to take part in the battle of recovering Hangzhou uprising, attacking the governor's office of Zhejiang Province, taking part in the battle of Jiangsu Zhejiang allied forces conquering Tianbao city of Nanjing, and acting as the platoon leader of the Death Squadron. In 1912, he was promoted to commander of the second battalion of the fourth regiment of the first division of the Zhejiang army, and was awarded the "third class literary tiger Medal". In 1915, he participated in the discussion of yuan, and served as commander of the independent artillery battalion of Zhejiang army in Jiaxing. In 1916, he served as infantry commander of Zhejiang army, commander of the first battalion of the mixed brigade, and later promoted to lieutenant colonel. He was stationed in Hangzhou and became a close friend with Lin zhixia. In 1925, he served as a colonel in the anti smuggling camp of Wenchu and Liangfu. In 1928, he retired to his hometown and established ji'ou shipping company and small school successively, which benefited the hometown and cultivated postgraduates.
