Chen Yuxin

Chen Yuxin, founder of hope group and chairman of Huaxi hope group, was born in Chengguan Town, Xinjin County, Sichuan Province in February 1950. His father Liu Dayong named him Liu Yongmei. Together with the names of the elder brother Liu Yongyan, the second brother Liu Yongxing and the fourth brother Liu Yonghao, they are "beautiful words and deeds". When he was two years old, he was adopted to Chen Yaoyun's family in gujia village, Shunjiang Township, Xinjin County due to family difficulties, and changed his name to Chen Yuxin.

After graduating from Sichuan Agricultural University in 1982, Chen Yuxin worked in the Agriculture Bureau of Xinjin County. Six months later, he resigned and returned to gujia village to raise quail and chicken. Liu brothers soon accumulated 1000 yuan of capital and started a company. In 1992, they expanded their feed business and formed Huaxi hope group.

In 1963, Chen Yuxin was admitted to Chengguan middle school and returned to the county. Three years later, just after graduating from junior high school with excellent grades, he was preparing to go on to high school and university when the Cultural Revolution began. He had to go back to gujia village from the county seat to become a real farmer. In 1977, the national college entrance examination system was restored. It took him only eight months to complete all the high school courses on his own and earn more than 3000 work points. Miraculously, he was admitted to Sichuan Agricultural University and realized his dream. After graduation, Chen Yuxin was assigned to work in the Agriculture Bureau of Xinjin County. Half a year later, Chen Yuxin resolutely gave up his status as a national cadre and went back to the countryside once again. He left his job without pay and returned to gujia village to establish Yuxin Liangzhong farm. Together with the other three brothers, he developed it into a famous hope group at home and abroad.
