Life of the characters
Early experience
On July 21, the fourth year of Jianping (333), shile, the late Ming emperor of Zhao Dynasty, died. Shi Hong, the son of shile, succeeded to the throne. Shi Jian's father, Shihu, Zhongshan king, controlled the power of the court. In August, Shi Hong appointed Shi Hu as prime minister, king of Wei, and Da Danyu to take charge of the government affairs. Shi Hu was granted the title of king, and Shi Jian was granted the title of king.
In the first year of Yanxi (334), Shi Hu deposed Shi Hong and became the king of later Zhao Dynasty. In the first month of the third year of Jianwu (337), Shi Hu called himself the heavenly king of Zhao, and granted Shi Jian the title of yiyanggong.
In the fifth year of Jianwu (339), Yu Liang, Minister of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, guarded Wuchang and sent Mao Bao and Fan Jun to guard Yingcheng. Shi Hu detested him and appointed kui'an as the governor of Dadu. He led five generals, Shi Jian, ran min, Li Nong, Zhang raccoon and Li Tu, with a total of 50000 soldiers invading the northern border of Jingzhou and Yangzhou, and sent another 20000 cavalry to attack Yingcheng. Mao Bao asks Yu Liang for help. Yu Liang thinks Ying City is solid, but he doesn't send troops in time. In September, ran min defeated the Jin army in Mianyang and killed general Cai Huai. Kui'an and Li Nong captured miannan. Zhu Bao defeated Jin army in Baishi and killed Zheng Bao and other five generals. Zhang racoon dog captured Yingcheng, and 6000 people died in the battle. Mao Bao and Fan Jun escaped and drowned when crossing the river. Kui an Jin occupied huting and invaded Jiangxia. Huang Chong, general of Yiyang, and ZHENG Jin, prefect of Yiyang, surrendered to Zhao Jun. Kui'an marched forward to encircle Shicheng. Li Yang, the governor of jingling, sent troops to resist and defeated kui'an. Kui'an was decapitated more than 5000 times. Kui'an then retreated, plundered the east of the Han River and took more than 7000 families of the people to move to Youzhou and Jizhou.
In the first month of the first year of Taining (349), Shihu became emperor, and Shijian was granted the title of Yiyang king.
Shazun succeeded to the throne
On April 23, the first year of Taining (349), Shi Hu died and the crown prince Shi ascended the throne. Shi Shi was in power for thirty-three days, and was abandoned by Shi Zun, the ninth brother of Shi Jian. After Shi Zun dethroned Shi Shi Shi, he established himself as emperor and appointed Shi Jian as Shizhong and Taifu.
At the beginning, Shi Zun said to ran min, "work hard! After the success, let you be the prince. " Later, Shi Zun made Shi Yan the crown prince. Ran min was disappointed. He thought that he had achieved great success for a while and tried to be good at the government, but Shi Zun didn't listen to him. Ran Min has always been brave and good at fighting, and has made many achievements. Both the Han nationality and the veteran of the minority nationalities are afraid of him. Now that he has become a commander in chief and takes over the military power inside and outside the palace, he appeases his soldiers and asks them to be all members of the palace, generals and Marquis outside the palace. Shi Zun didn't doubt what ran min had done. Instead, he wrote down the names of these people, commented on the good and evil, and belittled them. So all the soldiers were resentful and angry. Zhongshu ordered Meng Zhun and left guard General Wang Luan to persuade Shi Zun to gradually deprive ran min of military power, and ran min became more and more dissatisfied. Meng Zhun and others all persuade Shi Zun to kill ran min.
In November of the first year of Taining (349), Shi zunzhao, Shi Jian, Wang Shibao of Leping, Wang Shikun of Ruyin, and Wang Shizhao of Huainan entered the palace to discuss with empress dowager Zheng Yingtao. Shi Zun said: "the sign that ran min is not loyal to the monarch has gradually become obvious. Now I want to kill him, how about it?" Shi Jian and others said: "it should be so!" Zheng said: "if there were no ran min, how could it be today? Ran min is a little proud of himself. He should be lenient. How can he kill him in a hurry? " At this time, Shi Jian went out and sent eunuch Yang Huan to tell ran min the news. After hearing the news, ran min coerced Li Nong and right guard General Wang Ji to plot to depose Shi Zun. He sent generals Su Yan and Zhou Cheng to lead 3000 armored soldiers to arrest Shi Zun at Ruyi Guan in Nantai. When the soldiers came to Shi Zun's residence, Shi zunzheng and the woman played chess. Shi Zun asked Zhou Cheng, "who revolted?" Zhou Cheng said, "Shijian, king of Yiyang, should be established as his successor." Shi Zun said: "I am still like this. How long can Shi Jian last?" So Zhou Cheng and others killed Shi Zun in the Kunhua hall, and at the same time killed empress dowager Zheng, empress Zhang, Prince Shi Yan, Meng Zhun, Wang Luan and shangguanglu Zhang Fei.
After Shi Zun died, Shi Jian succeeded to the throne and implemented amnesty. Ranmin, the Duke of Wuxing, was appointed as the general and the king of Wude. He appointed Sikong Li Nong as the great Sima, and at the same time took charge of the official duties. Lang Kai was appointed as Sikong, Liu Qun, the governor of Qinzhou, as Zuo pushe, the minister, and Lu Chen, the minister.
Kill min
In December of the first year of Taining (349), Shi Jian sent Shi Bao, Zhong Shu Ling Li Song and Dian Zhong General Zhang Cai to Kun Hua Dian at night to kill ran min and Li Nong, but they failed, causing chaos in the palace. Fearing ran min's rebellion, Shi Jian pretended not to know about it. That night, he killed Li Song and Zhang Cai in the West China gate, and killed Shi Bao at the same time.
At that time, Shi Jian's brother Xinxing Wang Shi only guarded Xiang state. He joined forces with Yao Yizhong, Fu Hong and others to pass on the proclamations everywhere, trying to kill ran min and Li Nong. After hearing the news, ran min and Li Nong appointed Shi Kun, king of Ruyin, as the governor of Dadu, together with Zhang Ju and his servant Hu Yansheng, who led 70000 infantry and cavalry to attack Shi Zhi and others.
Abandoned and killed
General sun Fudu, Liu Zhu and others gathered 3000 Jie soldiers to ambush in the area where Hu people live, and they also wanted to kill ran min and others. At that time, Shi Jian was in Zhongtai, and sun Fudu led more than 30 people to attack because they wanted to take Shi Jian on the stage. Shi Jian saw that Sun Fu was destroying the attic and asked why. Sun Fudu said: "Li Nong and others have gathered in dongyemen for their rebellion. I'm leading the guards. I'd like to inform you first." Shi Jian said: "you are a meritorious official. You should work hard for an official. I'm watching you from the stage, and I don't have to consider that you haven't reported to me yet. " So sun Fudu and Liu Zhu led the soldiers to attack ran min and Li Nong, but they failed to win. They stationed troops at fengyangmen. Ran min and Li Nong, with thousands of soldiers, destroyed the Jinming gate and entered the palace. Fearing that ran min would kill himself, Shi Jian quickly recruited ran min and Li Nong, opened the Palace door to accept them, and said to them, "Sun Fudu conspired against him. You should attack him immediately." Ran min and Li Nong attacked and killed sun Fudu and others. From fengyangmen to Kunhua hall, there were corpses all over the place, and blood flowed into a river. Ran min issued an order to inform the court that all the six barbarians who dare to use weapons will be killed. Some of the Hu people broke through the city gate, some went out over the wall, and there were countless fugitives. Wang Jian, the Minister of the Imperial Palace, and Wang Yu, the Shaofu, led thousands of soldiers to guard Shi Jian at the Yulong temple, where food was suspended for him to eat.
In the first month of the second year of Taining (350), ran min wanted to eliminate Shi completely. On the pretext of "following Zhao Li" in the prophecy, he changed the name of the state to Wei, changed the surname of Shi to Li, implemented amnesty, and changed the year name to Qinglong.
More than 10000 people, including Zhao Lu, Taiwei Zhang Ju, Zhang Chun, Shi Yue, Shi Ning, Zhang Ji, princes, Qing, Xiao and Longteng, went to Xiangguo. Shi Kun came from Jizhou, Zhang Shen, the general of Fu army, stationed troops in Fukou, Zhang Hedu, Shidu, duanqin, Jianyi, Liyang, yangqun, Ningnan, sangbi, Liuguo, Yangcheng, duankan, Chenliu, yaoyizhong, hunqiao, Fuhong, Fangtou. Wang Lang and Ma Qiu went to Luoyang from Chang'an. Ma Qiu accepted ran min's will and killed more than 1000 Hu people in Wang Lang's department. Wang Lang ran to Xiangguo. Ma Qiu leads people to Fu Hong.
Shi Kun, Zhang Ju and Wang Lang led 70000 people to attack Ye City, while ran min led more than 1000 cavalry to resist them in the north of the city. Ran min, with a two edged spear in his hand, galloped to attack. His opponent was defeated by the spear and killed 3000 of the first level. Shi Kun and others were defeated, so they returned to Jizhou.
Ran min and Li Nong led 30000 cavalry to Shidu to attack Zhang Hedu. In February of the first year of Qinglong (350), Shi Jian secretly sent eunuchs to summon Zhang Shen and others to attack Ye City. The eunuch reported the matter to ran min and Li Nong. Ran min and Li Nong quickly returned home, deposed Shi Jian and killed him. They also killed 38 of Shi Hu's grandchildren and wiped out the Shi family. Shi Jian was in power for 103 days.
