Teng Wengong and Ji Hong in the Warring States Period
After the "Teng Wengong" in the spring and Autumn period, he should have been Teng Yuangong.
When Teng Wengong was a son of the world, he paid great attention to the way of governing the country and seriously sought the strategy of strengthening the country and enriching the people. When he was sent to the state of Chu, he learned that Mencius was in the state of song. When he returned home, he passed through the state of song and asked Mencius twice for advice on how to govern the country.
According to the notes of Mencius, Zhao Qi of the Han Dynasty researched the ancient Shiben. It was noted that there was kaogong Milu in the state of Teng, whose son was Gonghong of yuan. Later generations avoided the taboo of changing kaogong to Dinggong, so it was called Wengong. Zhao Qi, a scholar, has made a textual research on Wengong's name Hong and his father's name MI. Most of the comments and deeds about Teng Wengong are concentrated in the first and second chapters of Mencius Teng Wengong. There are eleven chapters of Mencius in Hanshu Yiwen, and now there are seven chapters handed down. In addition, there are four biographies of Mencius, which have been collected by people in Ming Dynasty.
The stele of Teng Wengong temple is recorded in the annals of Teng County in the Qing Dynasty, which is based on the textual research of historical documents.

Appreciation of contents
When Mencius answered the Teng monarch's question, he first put forward that I can't control who you are in power to depend on.
However, he immediately changed the subject of his speech, and the four words of "guarding with the people" fully reflected Mencius's "the people are the most important, the country is the second, and the monarch is the least." I'm not thinking about it.
