LV Xiaoming
Lu Xiaoming, born in Laiyang, Yantai, Shandong Province on April 19, 1979, is a Chinese professional basketball player. He plays as a point guard and plays for Shandong men's basketball team. He has retired.
Sports career
Shandong period
Lu Xiaoming began to touch basketball in the second half of the first year of junior high school. Later, he went to Yantai sports school, where he really liked basketball. In 1996, he joined the Shandong youth team. In 1998, LV Xiaoming was selected into the national youth training team. LV Xiaoming worked very hard in the training team, and finally he entered the main players list.
In 2000, after participating in the Asian youth men's basketball championship, LV Xiaoming returned to Shandong team.
In 2001, as a member of Shandong men's basketball team, LV Xiaoming participated in the Ninth National Games. Thanks to the support and conscious cultivation of Gong Xiaobin and other big brothers, LV Xiaoming performed well.
In 2001, Shandong men's basketball team was adjusted. At that time, Shandong was divided into two clubs, a team a and a team B. I thought that after the national youth team got some training, he could return to Shandong to play his dream CBA, but LV Xiaoming suffered a blow. After returning to Shandong, Qu Shaohua, Gao Jie and sun Zhongcheng, three of the same group of four players, all entered the first team, and he could only represent Shandong team in the first and second league.
This year, after the end of a B League, Shandong big team failed to rush to a, and then disbanded. At that time, Lu Xiaoming even found Henan Yujin team and played there for a while. After that, Shandong team asked him to go back to play CBA. But put him on the list of 15, there is no chance to play.
Hong Kong period
After leaving Shandong, LV Xiaoming went to Xiamen, the home of his then girlfriend (they got married in 2006). While he was playing wild ball, he was looking for a team. However, he immediately found a big problem. He had never played seriously in class A, didn't know several people, and no one knew him.
In 2002, a local newspaper in Xiamen published a news: Lu Hao, a former physical education teacher of Xiamen University, became Yao Ming's agent. When Lu Xiaoming's mother-in-law saw the news, she called Lu Hao and told him that her son-in-law was a player and wanted him to help lead the line. At the insistence of his mother-in-law, Lu Xiaoming and Lu Hao met and became the latter's signing player, while Lu Hao helped him contact the team.
Under the operation of Lu Hao, LV Xiaoming joined the Hong Kong Dragon team, a new a team, to participate in the 2002-2003 CBA League. Hong Kong Feilong gave LV Xiaoming the opportunity to touch the CBA, but also gave him extraordinary suffering and experience. Less than a year after Feilong's service, the team had financial problems. After the end of the league, the Hong Kong Feilong team was disbanded due to financial problems. During that time, Lu Xiaoming tasted the leisure Fu at home again, and looked around for the pain of his master. On the other hand, he had to try to recover the wages owed by Feilong.
Hong Kong Feilong's salary didn't come back in the end, but after a transitional year in Hong Kong Feilong, LV Xiaoming recognized the level of CBA, and the most important thing was that he was no longer timid and dared to fight.
Xinjiang period
After a long period of wandering, Jiang Xingquan, the head coach of Xinjiang team, found LV Xiaoming through Xue Yuyang (former teammate of Hong Kong flying dragon team), hoping that he would join Xinjiang team. At the end of September 2003, LV Xiaoming went to Beijing to sign a contract with Xinjiang team, which was a two-year contract.
Hong Kong Feilong gave LV Xiaoming a platform to participate in the CBA for the first time. LV Xiaoming started and established in the CBA in Xinjiang. Jiang Xingquan's guidance was the most important coach in LV Xiaoming's career. He gave LV Xiaoming a platform to play freely, instilled a lot of things into LV Xiaoming, and made LV Xiaoming have a great leap forward. LV Xiaoming has always been nostalgic for Jiang Xingquan's kindness.
During his three seasons in Xinjiang, LV Xiaoming was selected into the CBA all star team for the first time, and also selected into the national team coached by yunas, representing China in the East Asian Games.
Fujian period
In May 2006, LV Xiaoming married his girlfriend who had supported him for many years. In order to take care of his family, LV Xiaoming left Xinjiang and joined Fujian men's basketball team. He signed a two-year contract with his new club xunxing on May 31 and began his first training with his new teammates on June 1.
In the 2007-08 season, LV Xiaoming sent 20 assists in a single game in Fujian's home match with Jiangsu, which was the highest in his career.

Lu Xiaoming has been in Fujian for five seasons and won the CBA assists in three consecutive seasons from 2007 to 2010.
Shanxi period
In April 2011, he became a free agent. Wang Xingjiang, the boss of Shanxi team, invited LV Xiaoming to join Shanxi many times, which also moved him. In the negotiation with many clubs, LV Xiaoming finally joined Shanxi men's basketball team. In June 2011, the two sides signed a two-year contract.
After joining Shanxi, LV Xiaoming quickly integrated into the team. In the 2011-12 season, LV Xiaoming's average playing time was 30 minutes, and he could contribute 8.5 points and 5.7 assists to the team. Not only helped the Shanxi team into the playoffs, but also led the team to reach the top four of the league and get the third place in the league.
In 2012-13 season, he averaged 6.5 points, 6 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. Although he was slightly inferior to the peak period, he still ranked third in the league with 6 assists per game, ranking first among local players.
After the end of this season, LV Xiaoming has played in CBA for 12 seasons. He has played a total of 399 games, averaging 8.7 points, 5.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 3.1 rebounds. A total of 2122 assists, he is the history of CBA assists king, but also the history of CBA's first assists over 2000 players.
Sichuan period
On September 26, 2013, Sichuan Jinqiang formally signed a contract with LV Xiaoming for a period of two years. The next day, LV Xiaoming met with the Sichuan team and officially reported for duty.
On July 30, 2015, LV Xiaoming, a 36 year old veteran, has decided to quit after 14 seasons. What makes LV Xiaoming feel distressed is that he has not been re used in the Sichuan team and has few playing time and opportunities. Last season, he only played 20 minutes for the Sichuan team, averaging less than 14 minutes. In the case of not being reused for two consecutive seasons, LV Xiaoming also showed his willingness to leave the Sichuan team last season.
