Character evaluation
Hong Shen's realistic dramas are characterized by a distinct rational color ("the lack of visualization is too mechanical to deal with the subject matter"), showing a tendency of "mechanical realism" (when we start to compile, we always decide the desired final effect in advance, and then carefully and patiently look for specific methods in accordance with the scope). The combination of social problem play and propaganda play is not only the characteristic of his play, but also the weakness of his play.
