Wu Baoshu

(1793) Songya, a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. Maosun studied calligraphy from Wang Wenzhi. He was a painter and was good at flowers, fruits, orchids and bamboos. He is rich in spirit and beautiful in appearance. In his later years, he was fond of writing about plum blossom, and he was deeply self reserved. It is said that the seal of Qianqiu was painted. In 1865, he made bamboo and stone fans for Qin Yiting, which was 73 years old.

He wrote tonghualou poems. "The knowledge of painting in Mo Xiang Ju", "Mo Lin Jin Hua", "Xin Yong in Hua Lin", "Tong Yin's discussion on painting" and "exposing painting Ji Yu"
