He Ji

He Ji (1188-1268) was born in Jinhua (now Zhejiang Province) of Wuzhou in Southern Song Dynasty. Together with Wang Bai, Jin Luxiang and Xu Qian, they are called "four Mr. Jinhua" (or "four Mr. Beishan").

In the second year of Qiandao in the Southern Song Dynasty, Xiao Guoliang was promoted to Huizhou. In 1192, he was the county magistrate of Linchuan. Huang Gan, Zhu Xi's son-in-law, was the county magistrate of Linchuan. He ordered his eldest son Nan and his second son Ji Shi to take charge of it. Huang Gan's teaching thought is "to study with a true heart, and to work hard before you can.". Based on lifelong practice, it is not against the law. Back to his hometown, he lived in seclusion in Panxi, Beishan, known as Mr. Beishan. Scholars from all over the world came to seek advice. Wang Bai is a disciple of Li. He is modest and modest. He does not respect his teacher. He is difficult to ask questions. He has done something for ten times. Six out of ten people argue with Wang Bai.
