Liu Pu, male, whose real name is Liu Guohui, was born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China in 1945. President of Sichuan Chinese painting society, first-class artist of Sichuan poetry, calligraphy and painting academy, executive director of Chinese painting society, President of Sichuan Shushan painting academy, member of Chinese Artists Association, visiting professor of Renmin University of China, and the first batch of outstanding representatives of Bashu painting school. He has published Liu Pu's painting collection, Liu Pu's fan album, Liu Pu's ink landscape, etc.
brief introduction
Liu Pu began to study painting as a teenager. He first studied Chinese painting, calligraphy and literature under the guidance of Mr. Wu qianmei. As an adult, he went to Sichuan Academy of fine arts for further study under the guidance of Mr. Feng Jianwu. In 1982, he held individual and joint exhibitions in Chengdu, Nanjing, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, West Germany, the United States, Japan and other countries. His works have participated in many important exhibitions at home and abroad. His masterpieces Li Xiang, Zaoshi, Ninghe Laodukou and Jinfeng Guochu have been collected by China Art Museum. In 1994, Jin Feng Guo Chu participated in the Eighth National Art Exhibition and won the Sichuan excellent works award. In 2005, he participated in the creation of the large-scale Chinese painting volume "Ode to China" by the Ministry of culture, and his painting "Emei Qingyin Pavilion" was launched into space with the "Shenzhou 6" spacecraft. In July 2009, he participated in the invitation exhibition of contemporary painters with the most academic value and market potential. In September 2009, he was invited to attend the "National Day - Invitation Exhibition of 60 famous Chinese painters" (China Art Museum), and his works were included in the collection of 60 famous Chinese painters of the Republic of China.
