Early experience

Dou Wei was born in Beijing in 1969. His father is engaged in folk music, and his mother works in Beijing No.1 Machine Tool Factory.

At the age of 6, Dou Wei played flute in kindergarten.

When he was in middle school, his parents divorced and Dou Wei and his sister lived with his mother. At this time, Dou Wei heard rock and roll for the first time.

In 1985, Dou Wei entered vocational high school to study psychiatric nursing; in vocational high school, he learned a little guitar, so he made his own music.

Acting career
