Zheng Xiaoying
Zheng Xiaoying, a Hakka of Han nationality, was born in Yongding County, Fujian Province in 1929. He is a professor, the first female symphony conductor of the people's Republic of China, one of the music directors and founders of the women's Philharmonic Orchestra, artistic director and chief conductor of Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, permanent director of the Chinese Musicians Association, former director of the Department of conductor of the Central Conservatory of music, and former chief conductor of the Central Opera House.
He studied piano at the age of six and performed on stage at the age of fourteen. In 1952, he studied composition in the Central Conservatory of music and choral conducting from Soviet experts. From 1960 to 1963, he went to Moscow Conservatory of music to study opera conductor. He also studied opera conductor from Heijin, the conductor of the State Opera House of the Soviet Union, and Yi Bo Bain, the conductor of the Moscow Music Theater.
Since 1978, he has been the conductor of important national performances. Acting experience
Zheng Xiaoying was fond of music when she was a child. After entering Peking Union Medical College in 1947, she studied in Biology Department of Jinling Women's University and majored in piano in music department. In 1949, he worked in the art troupe of Zhongyuan University (now Zhongnan University of economics and law) in Kaifeng and Wuhan. In 1952, he was recommended to the Central Conservatory of music to study composition. In February 1955, the chorus of the central song and dance troupe specially invited the chorus conductor dumashev from the Soviet Union for guidance. At that time, the relationship between China and the Soviet Union was in the honeymoon period. Enthusiastic Soviet experts offered to hold a conductor training class to help China train chorus conductors. In the summer of 1956, Zheng Xiaoying finished his command class and returned to the Central Conservatory of music. In this year, the first professional conductor department in New China, the conductor Department of the Central Conservatory of music, was established. The school made an exception, allowing her to continue to complete her studies in the composition department. At the same time, she also worked as a part-time teacher in the conductor department, and served as the conductor of the school's chorus and red scarf orchestra.
From 1960 to 1963, Zheng Xiaoying was assigned to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of music in Moscow, the Soviet Union, where he studied opera and Symphony conducting under the guidance of well-known professors Ni Anosov and Ge rozjestwensky.
