Yi Li
Yi Li, born in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on November 7, 1985, is a Chinese professional basketball player. He is a power forward / small forward. He once played for CBA Jiangsu longkentia club.
In 2004-05 season, Yi Lirong won the best newcomer award of CBA. On July 6, 2008, the Lakers invited Yi Li to play in the summer league. In the 2009-10 season, Yi Li stepped into the peak of his career, averaging 15.7 points per game. On January 15, 2019, Yi Li became the scoring champion of Jiangsu team history.
In 2010, Yi Li was favored by the new coach of the men's basketball team, Deng Huade. However, Yi Li suffered shoulder injury soon after he was selected. He didn't play much. Later, he was finally dismissed and was not qualified to participate in the world championships and the Asian Games. In 2012, Yi Li was selected into the list of 12 men's basketball players in London Olympic Games. In October 2019, he served as the captain of Suzhou Kendia basketball team of Jiangsu longkendia club in the 2019-20 season.
On September 21, 2020, Jiangsu Kendia basketball club official Xuan Yili officially retired. After retirement, Yi Liliu served as assistant coach.

Club career
Trial for the Lakers
In 2004, Yi Li participated in the Adidas "superstar" training camp held in Atlanta, which has 250 young players, including big names like Beasley. At the end of the training, Yi Li ranked ninth in hoopscoop's comprehensive ranking and fifth in nbadraft's comprehensive ranking. This is Yi Li's first close contact with American basketball.
On July 6, 2008, the Lakers invited Yi Li to play in the summer league, and Yi Li went to the United States from Shanghai. Later, he will go to the Los Angeles club to "check in" and then represent the Los Angeles Lakers in six NBA summer league games.
The summer league is held in Las Vegas. In the first three of the five games, Yi Li is followed by DNP until Game 4. Yi Li came out in the game against the Timberwolves and scored 5 points in 2-for-4, but he had to fight Lefu for his thin figure, and his rebounds were severely attacked by Lefu. In the last game of the summer league, Yi Li went out for 5 minutes and 34 seconds and scored 2 points in 1 of 2 shots. There was no data except one mistake.
CBA period
At the beginning of November 2005, "Chinese Jordan" Hu Weidong gave his No. 8 shirt to Yi Li, 17 years younger than himself. At that time, Yi Li was only 18 years old.
In 2004-05 season, Yi Li played 46 times, averaged 18 minutes, scored 6.9 points and 3.7 rebounds, and won the CBA rookie of the season award.
In the second week of 2005-06 season, Yi Li won the MVP with an average of 22.3 points, 8 rebounds, 2.7 blocks, 3.7 assists and 5 steals. In this week's three games, he dunked 10 times. Despite the decline in the second half of the regular season, Yi Li played 48 games, averaging 13.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.5 steals, almost twice as much as last season. In the playoffs, after Jiangsu swept Xinjiang 3-0, it was eliminated by Guangdong 0-3. However, Yi Li played a valuable game in the third game, contributing 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 6 blocks. Among them, Jichen, Du Feng and Yi Jianlian all tasted Yi style hotpot. Since then, the CBA star began to rise.
In the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons, due to the lack of power forward position of Jiangsu team, young Yi Li was pushed to the position of power forward, and his technology was not yet formed, and he needed a lot of polishing, so he went on a road not suitable for himself. In these two seasons, Yi Li's dribbling and breakthrough skills, which he used to be good at as a small forward, almost stopped training. Yi Li, who was originally very thin, was hard shouldered in the interior line, so that he began to suffer injuries at a young age. Yi Li had a hard time playing in the power forward position, although he averaged about 10 points per game and had a good data block. Compared with previous seasons, Yi Li, who should have been on the rise, has seen a continuous decline in the data of these two seasons. The biggest reason is that his position is not suitable.
In the following two seasons, Yi Li finally changed to play small forward in Jiangsu team. In this position, Yi Li was like a duck to water, and his personal technical characteristics showed no doubt. Yi Li, who is good at shooting and jumping, is more handy in the position of small forward. His main task has changed from defense to attack. Yi Li doesn't need to shoulder hard with muscle sticks in the interior line as before. His speed and shooting advantages make up for his weakness in physical confrontation, and Yi Li has become a sharp weapon for Jiangsu team to score.
In 2009-10 season, Yi Li began to enter the peak of his career, averaging 15.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.9 steals, 1.4 assists and 1 block.
In 2010-11 season, he became the core of Jiangsu's attack, with an average of 16.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Sharp breakthrough and fast break dunk make Yi Li more and more famous in CBA. He was selected as CBA all star twice in 2010 and 2011.
On December 19, 2012, Yi Li scored 6 points in the 92-102 defeat of Jiangsu team to Beijing team, with a total score of more than 4000 points in CBA, ranking fifth in Jiangsu team after Hu Weidong, Zhang Cheng, Hu Xuefeng and Mike Harris, reaching the record.
On January 15, 2019, Jiangsu beat Tianjin 128-110 and Yi Li scored 21 points. With these 21 points, Yi Lide's CBA total score reached 6587, surpassing Hu Xuefeng's 6577, becoming the scoring champion of Jiangsu Men's basketball team.
National team career
In April 2002, in order to prepare for the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, China Basketball Association set up a long-term training team for men's basketball in the name of the Olympic Games. At that time, Yi Li, Yi Jianlian, Zhang Qingpeng and others were selected into the training team, while Yi Li, 15 years old, was the youngest member of that team. Although Yi Li showed good potential, he didn't get too many opportunities to show in the national youth team, which has players such as Las and Chen Jianghua.
In the 2007 Asian championship, China sent two teams to participate. In that series, Yi Li averaged 10.7 points per game, which was remarkable. Unfortunately, China only ranked 10th in the Asian championship, which covered up Yi Li's bright spot.
In 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Yi Li failed to make the list of 12 National People's Congress.
In the summer of 2009, Yi Li was selected into the national team training list, but after only one match, Yi Li was excluded from the Asian Championships because of his thin body. After that, the Chinese team suffered the "Jinmen Massacre" in the Asian Championships, and the subsequent East Asian Games became a chicken event again. The Chinese Basketball Association decided to send two teams to participate in the competition, and Yi Li was one of them. Yi Li averaged 12 points and 4.5 rebounds in one warm-up match and five East Asian Games. It's a pity that this good report card is once again dimmed because it lost to South Korea and Japan in the semi-final and the third quarter of the East Asian Games.
In 2010, with his outstanding performance in the league, Yi Li was favored by the new coach of the men's basketball team, Deng Huade. However, Yi Li suffered from shoulder injury soon after he was selected. He didn't play much. Later, he was finally cut off and missed the world championships and Asian Games.
In 2011, Yi Li was selected into the national team training list again. After Ding Jinhui and Zhou Peng were injured, Yi Li was once entrusted with the task of No. 4 position by Deng Huade, but the effect was not ideal. Yi Li sprained his ankle in the East Asian men's basketball championship, one of the lengthy warm-up events of the men's basketball team. But he'll be back soon. In the first game, Balin Yili scored 9 points and 2 steals in 12 minutes, among which Yili contributed a series of steals and made a personal show, which augured well for the individual national team competition. But in the next two group games, Yi Li's performance declined, but his steals and empty cuts made his eyes bright. In the first game of the second round against Syria, Yi Li scored 6 points and 2 assists, and his personal state began to recover; in the second game against Jordan, Yi Li got his longest playing time in the Asian championship, with 14 points and 4 rebounds in 23 minutes, and his personal score broke through double digits for the first time; in the third game against Japan, Yi Li's playing time, hit rate, three-point ball, rebound, score and other data all created new records Personal this time Asian championship since the new high, the team's highest 19 points plus 5 rebounds, 1 steals and 1 blocks.
On July 10, 2012, the founding ceremony of the Chinese sports delegation for the London Olympic Games was held in the Great Hall of the people. At the founding ceremony, the list of Chinese men's basketball team was officially announced. Yi Li was selected into the 12 National People's Congress.
Coaching career
On September 21, 2020, Jiangsu kentiya basketball club official Xuan Yili officially retired and became assistant coach of the team in the new season.

Yi Li is close to the peak. I think it's almost done. As soon as he went on the court, he concentrated on both ends of the attack and defense. He hit the long-range shot in the outside line. When he broke the joint defense, he not only scored by himself, but also created opportunities for his teammates. (by Deng Huade)
