Li Nina
Li Nina, born in Benxi, Liaoning Province on January 10, 1983, is a former Chinese Female Freestyle skier.
On March 12, 2005, Li Nina won the 2004-05 Freestyle Skiing World Cup air skills championship; on March 18, Li Nina won the 2005 Freestyle Skiing World Championship, and was the first Chinese woman athlete to win the world championship; on February 22, 2006, Li Nina won the second place in the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic women's air skills competition; on January 31, 2007, Li Nina won the second place On March 11, Li Nina won the 2007 World Freestyle Skiing championship; on February 22, 2009, Li Nina won the 24th World University Winter Games; on February 24, Li Nina won the mixed group air skills championship; on March 4, Li Nina won the 2009 World Freestyle Skiing championship Li Nina won the world championships for the third time in a row. On February 25, 2010, Li Nina won the second place in the women's aerials competition of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games. On March 11, 2014, Li Nina won the annual champion of the 2013-14 Freestyle Skiing World Cup. In February 2014, Li Nina retired.
On November 22, 2017, Li Nina was appointed as a member of the Athletes Committee of Beijing Organizing Committee for Winter Olympics; on January 17, 2018, Li Nina was elected as a member of the 13th CPPCC Beijing Municipal Committee.

In 1991, Li Nina was selected to Shenyang Institute of physical education to practice acrobatics. In 1994, she transferred to practice freestyle skiing aerial skills.

In 2002, Li Nina won the fifth place with 185.23 points in the freestyle women's aerial skills competition of 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.

On January 14, 2007, Li Nina won the second place with 186.64 points in the 2006-07 Freestyle Skiing World Cup aerial skills competition in Lugu, USA; on January 31, she won the gold medal with 194.57 points in the 6th Asian Winter Games freestyle skiing women's individual competition; on March 11, she won the gold medal with 188.05 points in the 2007 Freestyle Skiing World Championships On December 21, Li Nina finished 12th in the 2007-08 Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Changchun.
On February 3, 2008, Li Nina won the 2007-08 Freestyle Skiing World Cup in the U.S. with 199.16 points.

On January 5, 2013, Li Nina won the bronze medal with 96.93 points in the 2012-13 Freestyle Skiing World Cup aerial skills competition in Changchun; in February, she fell down like a free fall during a training in Lianhua Mountain of Changchun, Jilin Province, resulting in rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and injury of the medial collateral ligament of her right knee; on December 15, she won the gold medal in the 2013-14 Freestyle Skiing World Cup aerial skills competition in Jilin Province Li Nina won the championship with 94.11 points in the 2013-14 Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Beijing on December 21, ranking fourth with 67.32 points.
