Li Mingde is currently professor of Tongji University, doctoral supervisor of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, executive vice president of China Intellectual Property Law Research Association and member of national intellectual property expert advisory committee. he was admitted to Peking University in 1978, and successively obtained Bachelor of history, master of law and doctor of law in the Department of history and law of Peking University. From January 1995 to January 1997, he was a visiting scholar in the Law School of Washington University, studying and researching the intellectual property law of the United States. From February to August 2001, he worked as a visiting researcher at the MARPOL Institute of intellectual property law in Germany, studying the European Union and German intellectual property law. From October 2006 to March 2007, he worked as a visiting researcher in the Institute of intellectual property law of Japan to study the intellectual property law of Japan. published 12 monographs and translated works (including co authorship and co translation), and published more than 60 papers in legal research, global legal review, intellectual property and China copyright. From January 1995 to January 1997, he was a visiting scholar in the Law School of Washington University, studying and researching the intellectual property law of the United States.
