Dong Cunrui

Dong Cunrui (October 15, 1929 to May 25, 1948), male, Han nationality, from Huailai County, Hebei Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China.

Dong Cunrui came from a poor peasant family. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as the head of the children's team and tactfully protected the Secretary of the district Party committee from the pursuit of the Japanese invaders. He was known as the "little hero of the Anti Japanese War". In July 1945, he joined the Eighth Route Army and served as the monitor of class 6 of a certain department. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1947. He was skillful in military technology, resourceful and brave in fighting, and captured more than 10 enemies alone in one battle. He won three "bravery medals" and one "Mao Zedong Medal".

In May 1948, the battle of the Chinese people's Liberation Army against Longhua city began. His company took on the task of attacking Longhua middle school, a key defense center of the Kuomintang garrison. As the leader of the blasting group, he led his comrades in arms to successively blow up four turrets and five blockhouses, and successfully completed the specified tasks. The company immediately launched a charge, but was suddenly blocked by the fierce fire of a hidden bridge type castle of the enemy. The troops failed to blast the castle twice in succession. Dong Cunrui came forward and asked the company commander to fight: "I'm a communist, please allow me to go!" The company commander approved his request. He resolutely picked up the explosive bag and rushed to the castle. He hurt his left leg and insisted on rushing under the bridge. Because of the height of the bridge type bunker above the ground, it is impossible to place explosives on the two abutments. At the critical moment when the army's attack was blocked, he did not hesitate to hold up the explosive bag with his left hand and pull the fuse with his right hand, shouting: "for the sake of new China, go!" When the enemy's blockhouse was destroyed, Dong Cunrui opened up the way for the army with his own life. He died at the age of 19.

Life of the characters

Dong Cunrui, male, formerly known as Dong chunrui, was born in poverty when he was a child and studied for a year.

In 1940, nanshanbao established the Anti Japanese regime, joined the children's regiment and was elected head of the children's regiment. When he was 13 years old, he was known as the little hero of the Anti Japanese war because he sheltered the Secretary of the district Party committee (Wang Ping, Secretary of the district Party committee and director of the Military Commission in 1942) from the Japanese army. At the age of 15, he grew up to be an excellent little militia.

One day in 1942, Wang Ping, Secretary of the district Party committee and director of the Military Commission, came to Dong Cunrui's hometown nanshanbao. He heard about Dong Cunrui's heroic struggle and lived in his home. Later, every time Wang Ping came to nanshanbao, he stayed at Dong Cunrui's home and told him many battle stories. Wang Ping has a deep relationship with Dong Cunrui. Once, Wang Ping was betrayed on his way back from a meeting in the county. He pulled a grenade and died with the enemy. Hearing the news, Dong Cunrui became indignant and decided to join the militia.

In the spring of 1945, Dong Cunrui joined the local Anti Japanese self defense force and the Eighth Route Army in July of the same year. Dong Cunrui became a soldier of the people's army, and later served as deputy monitor and monitor.

At the beginning of April 1946, during the encounter in dushikou, an important town in northern Chahar, he won a machine gun from the Kuomintang army, was awarded a medal for bravery and made a great contribution.

In the sniping battle in changanling at the beginning of 1947, when the team leader died and the deputy team leader was seriously injured, he stood up and took the post of team leader himself. He completed the sniping task on schedule and made a great contribution. After the training and education of the Communist Party of China and the tempering of the war, Dong Cunrui has made three major achievements and four minor achievements, and won three medals for bravery and one medal for Mao Zedong.

In March of the same year, during Pingbei training, Dong Cunrui joined the Communist Party of China.

At the beginning of May 1948, Dong Cunrui's troops took part in the battle of jirecha. Longhua County is the Gongwei of Chengde, the capital of Rehe province. The enemy troops built a large number of blockhouses here in advance. Some of the special built bunkers are called "model fortifications".

On the 25th of the same month, during the battle to liberate Longhua County, Dong Cunrui resolutely picked up the explosive bag, injured his left leg, and rushed under the bridge because his troops were blocked by the other army's bridge type castle. Because there was no place to place explosive bags around him, Dong Cunrui used his body as a support in an emergency, holding explosive bags in his hands and blowing up blockhouses. He was under 19 at the time of his death.

In the spring of 1948, in the new-style whole army movement, the sixth class led by Dong Cunrui was praised as "Dong Cunrui's training model class" by the division headquarters. In the early morning of May 25, 1948, before dawn, the position was silent. The soldiers were anxiously waiting for the signal of the general attack. As the three red signal bombs soared into the air, our army's powerful artillery fire suppressed all the enemy's firepower on Taishan. In the smoke and fire, the brick tower at the top of Taishan was knocked down by our army's artillery, and the turret was also knocked down. Soon, the red flag of victory was planted at the top of Taishan. At 3:30 p.m., the second general attack began. Liulian launched a charge against Longhua middle school. It turns out that these are the six flames from a bridge across the Hanhe River in the northeast corner of Longhua middle school. The cunning enemy built a very clever disguised castle on the bridge and blocked the way of our army charging. Seeing the increasing casualties of his comrades in arms, Dong Cunrui asked the company commander to blow up the bridge type castle. But the company commander said, "you have completed the blasting task several times..." Before the company commander finished, Dong Cunrui said, "I'm a communist. My task is not just to blow up a few blockhouses. Longhua has not been liberated. How can it be regarded as completing the task? Even if I'm the only one left, I have to finish the task. " After discussing with the instructor, the company commander said to Dong Cunrui, "OK, you can go. You must pay attention to concealment." Dong Cunrui clenched his fist and said, "don't worry, you won't come back until you finish the task." Then he took out a small paper bag from his pocket, handed it to the instructor and said, "if I sacrifice, this is my last party expense." The instructor took the small paper bag, held Dong Cunrui's hand tightly, looked at him affectionately and said, "you must come back, we are waiting for you to come back victoriously."

Dong Cunrui picked up the explosive bag, bent down and rushed out. Under the cover of comrades' firepower, he crawled for a while, and then stood up and ran fiercely with the smoke of grenades thrown by comrades. In the bridge type bunker, the enemy's machine guns are hitting more and more tightly, and the bullets pass by his ears with a sharp whistling sound. When he was about to rush into the open area, Dong Cunrui pointed to a small mound in front of him and said to his comrades in arms, "you're here to cover!" A burst of grenades blasted the deer stockade and barbed wire in front of the enemy's blockhouse. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Dong Cunrui rushes into the open area.
