Story introduction
Chen Yuan has been engaged in financial work for a long time. He has a profound understanding and research of macroeconomic theory and international finance. His development view of development finance has also attracted wide attention at home and abroad, and is praised as "the most modern financial banker" in the West. He also presided over the capital development strategy research, and served as the director of the Institute of international economics of the United States, a member of the Advisory Committee of the school of stable finance of the bank for International Settlements, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Netherlands international group. By 2004, the non-performing loan ratio of China Development Bank has dropped to 1.21%, and its main business indicators have been stable at the international advanced level for three consecutive years. at the beginning of the development bank, it emphasized that it was a policy finance, did a lot of financial subsidies, and supported many enterprises with poor current benefits with credit funds. Later, through the development of their own market and asset development to bring about improvement. Within the scope of its business, China Development Bank will exchange funds for credit, build a system, and promote the construction of investment and financing system and the development and perfection of financial market. In the future development, quasi fiscal policy finance will still be an integral part of CDB's business, but more and more development finance is seeking development through market construction, taking the undeveloped market as its own development space and playing a role in a broader field. As early as 1999, Chen Yuan merged China Development Bank with a small commercial bank, adding 1000 employees. The bank's network of branches across the country is not involved in commercial lending, but is used to monitor lending. Chen Yuan transferred the loan decision-making power from the front-line staff to the back office staff. Some clients are also trying to influence the back office staff, so Chen Yuan set up a rotating committee to issue weekly loan approval suggestions, that is, to submit the loan project applications for approval only on Friday every week. This arrangement to a large extent inhibits the applicant's so-called "public relations efforts".
