Shao mi
Shao MI was a painter and calligrapher in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. The word Seng MI was later named guachou and fantuo. Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu) people.

Shao MI. The word Seng MI was later named guachou and fantuo. He is good at poetry, calligraphy and painting. He is good at landscape painting, and can also draw Narcissus, orchid and bamboo. His landscape painting is based on Yuan Dynasty and Song Dynasty. He was famous for a time, and together with Dong Qichang, Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, Li Liufang, Yang Wencong, Zhang Xuezeng, Cheng jiasui and Bian Wenyu, he was called the nine friends in the painting. There are many pictures, such as the painting of "Zhongcun" and "Pingyuan of Yunshan mountain" and "Yihe sending books". The cursive script was influenced by Mi Fu and Mi Youren, and the regular script got Zhong You's method.
