Lai Gong
Lai Gong is the 73rd grandson of Lai Shuying. Lingling people. According to the annals of the Three Kingdoms, Lai Gong was appointed governor of Jingzhou in the late Eastern Han Dynasty under Liu Biao. He is loyal, courageous, upright, talented and righteous. Later, he defected to Liu Bei's subordinates and served as general Zhenyuan. He and Zhuge Liang wholeheartedly supported Liu Bei and made outstanding contributions. Together with Zhuge Liang, he wrote a letter to Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, asking him to be the king of Hanzhong. Liu Bei put him in high position and made him too often. After Cao Pi usurped the Han Dynasty, Lai Gong hated Liu Bei very much. He asked Liu Bei to be emperor and strongly supported Liu Bei. His son, Lai Xiong, was also very talented and was appointed Prime Minister Xi Cao Ling Shi.

At the end of the Han Dynasty, Liu Biao, the governor of Jingzhou, in order to control Jiaozhou, sent Lai Gong from Lingling to replace Zhang Jin, who was killed by Qu Jing. Later, Wu Ju was forced to go back to his hometown Lingling.
Shu Han as an official
After Liu Biao died, he defected to Liu Bei, who made Lai Gong General of Zhenyuan.
In the 24th year of Jian'an (219), Lai Gong became one of the 11 leading figures in the Han Dynasty. Together with Zhuge Liang, he wrote a letter to Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty asking Liu Bei to be the king of the Han Dynasty, and Liu Bei appointed Lai Gong as Taichang Qing. In the 25th year of Jian'an (220), Cao Pi usurped the Han Dynasty. Lai Shangshu asked Liu Bei to be emperor. Later, he advised Liu Bei to go to the east Wu Dynasty. Liu Bei insisted on going to the army and ordered him to stay in Xichuan. After Liu Bei died, he and Zhuge Liang suggested that Liu Bei and empress zhaolie should be buried together.
