Shanghai fights the battle of transformation and upgrading well

Develop high-end manufacturing. Focusing on industrial greening and integration, Shanghai is promoting the construction of green factories and zero carbon parks, and creating a number of characteristic clusters of productive service industries. On February 5th, Toyota announced the establishment of a research and production company for Lexus pure electric vehicles and batteries in Jinshan District, Shanghai. This marks Toyota's first domestic production of Lexus brand cars in China, and will further highlight Shanghai's advantage as a highland in the new energy vehicle industry.

To meet the green development needs of enterprises, the inter provincial and intra city green power trading volume in Shanghai in 2025 has reached 6.68 billion kilowatt hours, setting a new historical high and increasing by 1.5 billion kilowatt hours compared to 2024, achieving rapid growth for four consecutive years.
