Recently, the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the "Notice on Doing a Good Job in Relevant Work during the New Year and Spring Festival in 2025". The full text is as follows:

2025 is the final year of the 14th Five Year Plan. All regions and departments should take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as guidance, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 2nd and 3rd Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee, coordinate and do a good job in relevant work during the New Year and Spring Festival, and ensure that the people have a happy, safe and peaceful holiday. With the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.

1、 Caring for and caring for disadvantaged groups, focusing on solving urgent, difficult, and anxious problems. Strengthen employment assistance for individuals facing employment difficulties. Carry out visits and condolences to new employment groups. Care about grassroots cadres and workers, especially comrades working in areas with difficult conditions and on the front lines of urgent, difficult, dangerous and heavy tasks. Intensify the supervision and inspection of bulk food and edible agricultural products in the holiday market, strengthen food safety law enforcement, urge relevant production and operation entities to strictly implement their food safety responsibilities, and safeguard the "safety on the tongue" of the masses. Strengthen the monitoring and supervision of prices for important livelihood goods and services, and crack down severely on illegal activities such as price gouging, collusion in price increases, and price fraud. Strengthen the supervision of online transactions, smooth the channels for complaints and reports, timely accept and handle consumer demands, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.

3、 Enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the masses and create a strong festive atmosphere. Deeply carry out the theme interview activities of "New Year Going to the Grassroots" and the theme promotion of "Cultural China Tour", sing the main melody, and spread positive energy. Organize a demonstration exhibition event for the Spring Festival "Village Evening" to showcase the new spirit of farmers and the new atmosphere of rural revitalization. Organize and carry out the "Three Down to the Countryside" campaign for cultural, technological, and health education, delivering excellent cultural products, scientific and technological knowledge, and health knowledge to the people. Carry out the "Celebrating the New Year with Intangible Cultural Heritage" series of activities to inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture. 4、 Coordinate and carry out the Spring Festival travel rush work to ensure the safe and convenient travel of the masses. Strengthen the coordination and connection of comprehensive transportation, enhance the sharing of information between railways, highways, waterways, civil aviation, and urban passenger transport, and smooth the "first and last mile" of passenger travel. Promote the fine traditional style of the Chinese nation, strictly educate the family, advocate diligence and thrift, promote the transformation of customs and habits, oppose bad habits such as showing off wealth through extravagance and extravagance, and oppose the idea and phenomenon of privilege. Strictly enforce disciplinary requirements and persistently implement the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation. Fully equipped and strengthened on duty personnel, units that directly serve the public should reasonably arrange on duty during holidays to ensure service quality. Strengthen emergency plan drills, prepare for various types of emergencies, and ensure rapid response, efficient and orderly handling in case of emergencies. Strictly implement the request and report system, and resolutely prevent delayed reporting, omission, false reporting, and concealment.
