Ma Ying jeou resumes his trip to mainland China

On the morning of the 18th, Ma Ying jeou stated in a speech at Taoyuan Airport that this is his third visit to mainland China, and he is also bringing his classmates from the 9th National University. After inviting a delegation of mainland teachers and students two weeks ago, they quickly arranged for Taiwanese students to visit the mainland. At this stage, such cross-strait youth return visits and exchanges are particularly important.

Ma Ying jeou said that although the Ma Ying jeou Foundation is only a private organization, it is always willing to assist the authorities in promoting cross-strait exchanges. Through several annual visits between young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, it strives to minimize misunderstandings between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, which is also in line with the interests and well-being of the Taiwanese people.

Spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office, Zhu Fenglian, previously stated that Ma Ying jeou will visit Heilongjiang and Sichuan provinces to attend events such as the Ice and Snow Festival. She pointed out that the mainland welcomes Mr. Ma Ying jeou to lead a delegation to visit again and will make arrangements for various activities. Zhu Fenglian said, "The youth on both sides of the Taiwan Strait carry the future and hope of cross-strait relations." She expressed the hope that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, especially young friends, will frequently visit and move around.
