Beijing: it's forbidden for employers to give money instead of drugs

At present, Beijing has entered a hot season. The municipal health and Health Commission recently issued a notice on summer heatstroke prevention, forbidding employers to replace the heatstroke prevention drinks and drugs with money and goods.

The municipal health and Health Commission requires the employing units to strictly abide by the requirements of high temperature operation time according to the requirements of "management measures for heatstroke prevention" and the weather forecast information released by the meteorological department. If the daily maximum temperature reaches above 40 ℃, it is a severe high temperature weather, and outdoor operation on that day shall be stopped; When the daily maximum temperature reaches above 37 ℃ and below 40 ℃, it is moderate high temperature weather. The employer shall arrange workers to work outdoors for no more than 6 hours, and suspend the outdoor work from 12:00 to 15:00; When the daily maximum temperature reaches 35 ℃ or above and 37 ℃ or below, it is generally hot weather. The employing unit shall shorten the continuous working hours of the workers by changing the liner, and shall not arrange the outdoor workers to work overtime.

Due to the nature of the work and the requirements of production technology, the units that can not stop the high-temperature operation or suspend the open-air work during the high-temperature period should do a good job in heatstroke prevention and cooling: formulate the emergency plan for heatstroke prevention and cooling, organize drills regularly, implement various measures for heatstroke prevention and cooling, and strengthen the labor protection of high-temperature operation; Health examination shall be carried out for workers exposed to high temperature. For workers suffering from heart, lung, cerebrovascular diseases, tuberculosis, central nervous system diseases and other physical conditions not suitable for high temperature working environment, their posts shall be adjusted; According to the production characteristics and specific conditions, reasonable arrangement of working hours, rotation operation, as far as possible to shorten the time of a continuous operation, appropriate increase in the rest time of workers under high temperature working environment and reduce labor intensity.

Employers should actively improve working conditions and working environment, add necessary ventilation or cooling equipment in high-temperature workplaces, provide sufficient heatstroke prevention drinks and necessary drugs for workers, and absolutely prohibit giving money and goods instead of heatstroke prevention drinks and drugs. All employers shall pay high temperature allowance to workers engaged in high temperature operation in accordance with the standard of high temperature allowance in this city.

When the workers suffer from heat stroke, they should immediately take rescue measures, quickly get out of the high temperature environment, and take necessary symptomatic treatment measures. If the patient's condition is serious, the employing unit shall promptly send him to a medical and health institution for treatment. Workers suffering from heatstroke caused by high-temperature operation or high-temperature weather operation who are diagnosed as occupational diseases shall enjoy industrial injury insurance benefits.
