Tencent Video restricts the number of login devices for members
On December 10th, Tencent Video released an explanation for adjusting its membership benefits. The new membership service rules are as follows: Tencent Video VIP members who purchase, claim, or activate after 00:00 on December 16, 2024, can log in on a total of 3 devices and play on 1 device at the same time during the membership validity period of the order
Compared to previous membership benefits, the platform has reduced the cumulative number of device logins for the same account and only allows simultaneous playback on one device
The benefits of existing members remain unchanged. For Tencent Video VIP members who have subscribed for consecutive monthly/quarterly/yearly subscriptions before December 16, 2024, if they continue to subscribe, they can enjoy the benefits of logging in on a total of 5 devices and playing on 2 devices simultaneously.
Tencent Video VIP members who purchase, claim, or activate monthly/quarterly/annual cards before December 16, 2024, can also enjoy the benefits of logging in on a total of 5 devices and playing on 2 devices simultaneously during the validity period of the membership order
In addition, Tencent Video's SVIP membership benefits are not affected by this adjustment and remain unchanged
