In 2019, the city's industrial added value will reach 49.158 billion yuan, an increase of 8.7%, contributing 50.7% to economic growth, and boosting economic growth by 4.1 percentage points. The number of Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size reached 573, an increase of 2.9% over the previous year, of which 16 enterprises were newly added in that year. The added value of industries above designated size increased by 9.8% over the previous year.

In 2019, the added value of light industry and heavy industry in Suining will increase by 3.1% and 15.8% respectively. In terms of economic types, large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 14%, state-owned holding enterprises by 1.6%, joint-stock enterprises by 9.8%, and foreign-funded enterprises and enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan increased by 16.9%. In terms of five advantageous industries, the added value of lithium battery and new materials industry increased by 22.7%, electronic information industry by 18.8%, mechanical equipment industry by 6.7%, oil, gas, salt and chemical industry by 15.1%, and food and beverage industry by 4.0%.

In 2019, Suining's Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size realized operating revenue of 125.486 billion yuan, an increase of 9.7% over the previous year. Among them, large and medium-sized enterprises reached 56.718 billion yuan, an increase of 14.9%; state-owned holding industrial enterprises reached 8.946 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0%; joint-stock enterprises reached 113.632 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5%; foreign enterprises and enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan achieved 5.762 billion yuan, an increase of 8.2%. The total profit was 9.942 billion yuan, an increase of 4.5%. At the end of the year, the asset liability ratio of Industrial Enterprises above designated size was 42.9%, 1.4 percentage points lower than that of the previous year. The annual production and sales rate of Industrial Enterprises above designated size was 98.3%.

By the end of 2019, 183 construction enterprises (general construction contracting and professional contracting) were included in the statistical database of construction output value, an increase of 3.4% over the previous year. The total output value of construction enterprises reached 56.889 billion yuan, an increase of 30.2% over the previous year.
