Li Changxiu
Director Li Changxiu was born in 1960 and studied architecture in University. He joined MBC television station in 1984 and became a director. In 1996, he directed SBS's special play "oxtail soup" which won awards in New York and Houston TV festivals. In 1999, he directed the film "love" starring Zheng Yucheng, Gao Xiaoying and other stars, but failed. After that, he made successful Korean dramas such as shooting stars, the ladder of heaven, love at Harvard, National Highway 1 and beautiful days. In 2009, he returned to the big screen with his second film, beauty in the eyes of the beholder, starring Jiang Zhihuan and Li Zhiya, and working with Japanese writer oshiki.
