Han Langen
Han Langen (1909.3.29-1982.1.27), film actor. Shanghai people. When he was young, he was poor and dropped out of school. He entered the film industry at the age of 16. In the 1930s, Xiaohou was well-known in yuguangqu. After 1942, he starred and directed a number of funny films. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he was an actor in Changchun Film Studio. He played the leading role in the film unfinished comedy. He took part in shooting more than 250 films in his life.

Han Langen was born in Shanghai in 1909. Famous movie actor. When he was young, because of his poor family, he began to make a living on his own at the age of 15. At the age of 16, I was lucky to enter the film industry. First in the film "Skeleton Island" in the play, and later in "tofu Xi Shi" in a role. When he first appeared on the screen, he had a narrow road to play, performed with affectation, and was not satisfied with his performance. He doesn't like tragic roles, and is very interested in playing comic roles. He often imitates the performances of American humorists Chaplin, Laurie and Hardy. He is influenced by them and understands the true meaning of some comic arts, which lays a foundation for him to become a comedian.
Achievements and honors
In 1931, Chinese films flourished. He played "little monkey" in the film "Yu Guang Qu". Because his real and natural performance deeply moved the audience, he also got the nickname "skinny monkey", and the more he called, the louder he became. In 1937, he won the reputation of "Chinese Chaplin" because of his starring in "a match made in heaven", which also made him reach the peak of comedy performance. In the late 1940s, he directed and starred in the movies such as "a dream of joining the army" and "hero of the sea (1948)". Because the movies cater to the taste of ordinary people and lack of artistic innovation, he failed to go on the road of directing successfully. After liberation, he has been engaged in drama performance, the only film he ever shot is "unfinished comedy". During the cultural revolution, he was persecuted for his two films "Langshan Huxue Ji" in 1936 and "Wang Laowu" in 1937.
Han Langen is an old generation of funny movie stars in China. He was rated as "Laurie of the East" by the film makers at that time. His humorous performance and long-term accumulated artistic experience make him one of the rare funny movie stars in the Chinese film world. He died in 1982. (details)
