Chen Guoquan
Chen Guoquan (1937 -), conductor, composer, music theorist, Hakka, native of Luchuan, Guangxi, Professor of Wuhan Conservatory of music.
He once served as vice chairman of Hubei Musicians Association and member of the 7th, 8th and 9th CPPCC Wuhan Municipal Committee.
At present, he is a member of China Musicians Association, executive director of China Chorus Association, deputy director of theoretical creation Committee of China Chorus Association, and chief conductor of Wuhan Xinghai chorus, Wuhan Teachers Chorus, Wuhan voice chorus of Wuhan song and dance theater.
Personal experience
In 1992, he was awarded the title of "young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution" by Hubei provincial government. In 1992, he enjoyed the special government allowance issued by the state.
