Tu Guangqi, male, was born on August 26, 1914 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. Graduated from Nanjing National Academy of drama. Director, has been in Shao, Xinhua, Yonghua, Asia, Cathay and other film companies as director. He quit the film industry in 1973.
Personal experience
Graduated from Nanjing National Academy of drama. In 1937, he participated in Shanghai drama society and other groups to perform drama. In 1939, he took part in the film Ge nenniang, and later starred in Xiangfei, saijinhua and other films. In 1940, he co directed Meng Lijun with Zhu Shilin, and then directed Xin Yu Guang Qu independently. In 1942, he joined Zoomlion and Huaying. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he edited and directed films in China power third factory, Cathay Pacific and other film companies. In 1950, he moved to Hong Kong and worked as director of Shaw, Xinhua, Yonghua, Asia, Cathay Pacific and other film companies. He quit the film industry in 1973.
