Wang Weide entered the wireless arts training class in 1986.

Wang Weide is a member of the artist's family. He likes to participate in charity work. He also participates in the Kara Star project of "happy Donghua" every year to raise money and perform songs in sign language.

In February 2006, he participated in the "helping others Association's happy cookie campaign 2006" and sang the song "only love is forever" with LAN jieying.
