Personal resume
Introduction to dance
In 1945, Xue Jinghua, whose ancestral home is Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, was born into an intellectual family in Shanghai. Her mother loved art, especially dance performance. Therefore, when Beijing ballet school invited Soviet experts to give lectures in 1956 and published the enrollment news in the newspaper, her mother and her daughter traveled all the way to Beijing to take the exam. At this time, Xue Jinghua was still a primary school student and knew nothing about ballet. However, her mother confidently brought her daughter into the examination room. Xue Jinghua, with her pure and beautiful face, in line with the body shape of ballet performance and moderate age, has passed three tests and opened the door of dance art.
Role transition
From 1956 to 1963, the whole seven years of professional study. The second year after graduation, the Central Ballet began to rehearse the modern drama "Red Detachment of women". Xue Jinghua was the leader of the third Li dance. Her tall figure and flexible dance style conquered the audience and also attracted Premier Zhou Enlai's attention. He made a suggestion to the leader of the company who accompanied him: "do you think we can let the actor who danced Li dance try the company commander?" As a result, Xue Jinghua, who had just entered "Zhongba" for the first time, was lucky to change to "company commander of the women's army" with a heavier role.
"The Red Detachment of women" has been released as a reserved program. Premier Zhou called the roll again and asked Xue Jinghua to audition as the heroine Wu Qionghua. Xue Jinghua had no idea. In front of the prime minister, he declined to say, "I can't play the heroine. First, I'm too tall; second, I'm not in good health; third, I'm not good at basic skills." However, it was later decided by the organization that Xue Jinghua would play the heroine, and the name of the character in the play was changed from Wu Qionghua to Wu Qinghua.
Famous at home and abroad
Since 1968, after three years of rehearsal and revision, and more than a year of film shooting, Xue Jinghua's ballet "Red Detachment of women" was made into a color art film in the Spring Festival of 1971, which was ceremoniously shown all over the country. Xue Jinghua's beautiful shape of "kicking back the purple golden crown", as well as "escaping from the coconut forest" and "evergreen finger" were also shown The 25-year-old has become a "Ballet Star" at home and abroad with such classic styles as "road", "holding a red flag" and "receiving orders from the front".
Diplomatic performance
On July 24, 1972, the Central Ballet was ordered to perform "the Red Detachment of women" at the Great Hall of the people in Beijing for US President Nixon and others who visited China during the "establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States". Xue Jinghua thought it was the best performance and the most physical loss. At that time, with her best performance, she devoted herself to the shaping of the role. The day after the show, she fell ill in bed. When matsushama ballet visited China for a performance, they wanted to meet Xue Jinghua. As soon as they heard that Xue was ill, they told Liao Chengzhi, who was in charge of reception work. Liao Chengzhi quickly told Premier Zhou, who was also ill but still insisted on working. In Shanghai, Premier Zhou met Xue Jinghua at the reception and said to her earnestly, "you are still young. You can perform for five, 10 and 15 years." Xue Jinghua was inspired. On September 12, 1973, at the welcoming party of French President Pompidou's visit to China, Xue Jinghua stepped on the stage of parting for another year.
Back on stage
In 1978, Xue Jinghua took part in the exchange performance of the first visit to the United States by the national literary and art group since the smashing of the gang of four. She went on the stage after five years' absence and performed the segment "evergreen guides the way" in the Red Detachment of women. After that, she did not perform Wu Qinghua again, but continued to shine on the stage in other different forms. Among them, she won the first prize of dance performance of the Ministry of culture for her "Snake Dance" in the ballet "fish beauty".
Teaching contribution
In fact, as early as 1984, at the invitation of Shenzhen Municipal Party committee and government, Xue Jinghua came to Shenzhen with five experts organized by "Zhongba" to hold a three-month accelerated ballet class. The first phase of the students also gave a presentation performance in Shenzhen hall. At that time, there were only two professional literary and artistic groups in Shenzhen, Guangdong opera troupe and Symphony Orchestra. Therefore, Xue Jinghua actively participated in the preparatory work of Shenzhen Art School, transforming the "Shenzhen Dapeng art school", a three room and two hall house located in Yuanling new village, into the "Shenzhen art school" with initial scale. Xue Jinghua served as the director of the ballet Department of the school. At that time, due to her husband's career development needs, she had settled in Hong Kong from Beijing. She is also a special full-time instructor of the Hong Kong Dance Company. Although she lives in Kowloon, Hong Kong and has to take care of her young children, she shuttles between Shenzhen and Hong Kong almost every day to meet the needs of working in Shenzhen.
After being invited to work as "ballet coach" for 4 years in Shenzhen Huaxia ballet school, Xue Jinghua worked as "ballet coach" for 4 years. At first, she just saw that there were always several little girls playing together nearby, so she proposed to teach them dance. Finally, these children became dance teachers of Huaxia Culture and Art Center. Xue Jinghua said that it is not for fame or profit to be so tired for years. If you want to be famous, you have long enjoyed the famous flowers and applause in your youth. If you want to make profits, you can fight continuously from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekends from Friday night to 9:30 p.m. on weekends. There is little money left for the fare, meals and other expenses of traveling between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and there is no money left at all. However, whenever she saw the innocent expression and single-minded manner of the children, she would immediately think of the scene of learning ballet in her youth, so the feeling of hardship and tiredness would disappear immediately. A few years ago, when her husband was in Japan, the couple got together less and separated more. Later, the family got together, but Xue Jinghua, who loves ballet, still plays her part in Shenzhen every week. In the past, every Saturday morning, when many people were still asleep, Xue Jinghua woke up her husband and daughter to go to Shenzhen. Now that her daughter is admitted to university, her husband accompanies her to Shenzhen and Hong Kong every Thursday and Monday.
Xue Jinghua has been in Shenzhen for more than ten years, and has made every effort to cultivate the ballet art in Shenzhen. Her only regret is that there is not ballet art in Shenzhen, but it has not been taken seriously in a real sense and has not really integrated into the mainstream culture. As soon as she entered the training room every day, Xue Jinghua put down the bag containing "flattened bread" and mineral water and began to teach the children how to dance. In her own words, she hopes that the children she teaches can become gorgeous and dazzling roses or fresh and robust morning glory. This is her beautiful wish.
