Shen Zhiming, university culture, started work in December 1974 and joined the Communist Party of China in July 1977. He used to be a member of the Party group and deputy director of Guizhou literature and History Research Institute.

From December 1974 to July 1977, he served as a soldier and Deputy monitor of the repair company of the 117 regiment of the engineers of Kunming Military Region, Yunnan Province.
