Character evaluation
The biggest characteristic of Li culture is to comply with the changes of social situation and market trend, direct and shoot good films that not only cater to the times, but also have artistic and ideological depth. He is a real film genius, and his scenery is also very beautiful, such as the characters playing the piano, the leaves shaking outside the window, the streets of Jiangnan ancient town in the rain, etc. What's more, he keeps on improving his art. He is strict in every shot and never passes the test carelessly. In addition, he has a good temper. He guides the acting skills of the actors with an approachable attitude and respects the work of the actors. The films he has made are beating with the pulse of the times. The film life he has written with himself not only condenses the development process of a certain stage of new China's film, but also reflects the changes of Chinese political circles in the past decades. This is the fundamental reason why Li Wenhua and his films are different from the rest of the world (China film daily, Xie Fang, Huang Xiaolei comprehensive review).
