Cheng Tianci

Cheng Tianci

Cheng Tianci, born in Taiwan in 1957, has been studying and living in Beijing Peking opera academy from the age of 6 to 18. In the mid and late 1970s, he was involved in many Kungfu films and TV works. Later, he joined Shao family. He was proficient in all kinds of martial arts, so he quickly got Zhang Che's love and starred in several of Zhang Che's films. He also cooperates with other directors, such as Li zuonan's "soul catching needle and Life Killing fist" and Jin Shengen's "one armed sword vs one armed sword".

Acting experience

Born in Taiwan, Cheng Tianci studied and lived in Beijing opera academy from the age of 6 to 18. He worked in many companies, such as Rowe action film and Jiahe film, but he starred in many of Zhang Che's films, and then worked in longbow and Shaw Brothers. He is an excellent super actor and juggler. He is proficient in all kinds of martial arts, so he soon won the love of Zhang Che and became one of his fifth generation disciples.

In terms of appearance, Cheng Tianci is powerful and handsome, and Zhang Che has praised him. Cheng Tianci starred in thunderbolt, but somehow he disappeared from the screen. This may have something to do with Mr. Zhang's entry into the mainland market. The "great Shanghai 1937" and "dragon crossing the Yangtze River" are all new people from the mainland. Cheng Tianci's last appearance was in the early 1990s when Meng Fei from Taiwan starred in "flying fox in snow mountain", played a small role called Wang Tiee, and served as the martial arts director of the play. Character evaluation

His natural and unrestrained personal charm, solid martial arts foundation and brilliant talent enable him to play the leading role in many films directed by Zhang Che, such as the ghost full of acrimony and revenge in magic and little overlord, the warrior in Wudun Ninjutsu, the murderous executioner in thirteen Taibao of Shanghai beach, and the kind but lonely dance art in thunderbolt People and many other classic characters. Although Cheng Tianci is versatile, he plays far more small roles than the leading role in movies, and his acting career is very short. He is not recognized as a kung fu star by people in the industry, and he is rarely mentioned by fans who are loyal to kung fu movies, which has to be said to be a tragedy. He's also an action director, which is also memorable. He is good at designing complicated martial arts and dance for film and television works, as well as some special effects. When shooting "Chong Xiao Lou", Zhang Che thought that Cheng Tianci "has drama on his face and spirit in his eyes". Zhang Che also appreciated his intelligence and experience in martial arts design.
