Zhou Daji (1914.4-1998.12), also known as zhouquan, was born in Mianyang, Hubei Province. Good at oil painting.
brief introduction
He graduated from the Department of Western painting of North China University in 1934. He has successively served as lecturer and associate professor of the Fine Arts Department of Wuchang art college, School of literature and art of Zhongyuan University, associate professor of central and South America College, and director and professor of the teaching and research section of Guangzhou Academy of fine arts. His representative works include Anti Japanese trilogy, general and lady, on the field of hope, etc.
Life
In 1934, "Yifeng society" held the first national art exhibition in Shanghai, exhibiting works "gray city" and "hometown spring". In 1956, Wu Lao Feng won the prize in Hubei art exhibition. In 1987, his work "looking forward to spring" took part in the contemporary Chinese oil painting exhibition held in New York. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as the creative group leader of the new Hubei literature and Art Commission. Before and after liberation, he successively served as professor and teaching and research group leader of Wuchang art college, Zhongyuan University School of literature and art, Zhongnan art college, Zhongnan Art College and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. After retirement, he founded Lingnan Academy of fine arts and served as the president. He died of illness in 1999.
Zhou Daji was born in Mianyang, Hubei Province, and graduated from Wuchang Art College in 1931. The first national art exhibition was held in Shanghai in 1934. He was created in 1984 and participated in the art exhibition of the 35th anniversary of the founding of Guangdong Province. In 1987, he took part in the conference held in New York. After retirement, he founded Lingnan Academy of fine arts and served as the president. In 1996, Zhou Daji's solo oil painting exhibition was held at the Dunhuang Art Center in Taipei and Taichung.
