He is now the chairman of Liwen Paper Co., Ltd. and the Standing Committee of Qionghai Municipal Council of Hainan Province.

Dr. Li Wenjun, member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference. Born in Hong Kong in 1970 (originally from Qionghai County, Hainan Province), he immigrated to Vancouver, Canada at the age of 9. In 1993, he received a bachelor's degree in Applied Science from the University of British Columbia in Canada. After graduation in 1993, he returned to Hong Kong to work and study in Liwen Group Co., Ltd. within two years, he brought Liwen group into computerized management by using computer knowledge. In 1999, he was vice president of the Hong Kong Scouts Association in Kowloon. In December 1999, he donated HK $500000 in his own name to sponsor the "century scouts camp". He is currently chairman of Liwen Paper Co., Ltd. and member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Qionghai City, Hainan Province. Liwen Paper Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Liwen paper" or "the group") was established in 1994. One of the founders of the company is responsible for the overall planning of the group. Liwen paper is one of the base paper producers of box board. It was listed on the main board of the stock exchange of Hong Kong in 2003 with a market value of HK $19.3 billion as of June 2014. Liwen paper has invested and set up six pulp and paper factories in Zhongtang town and Hongmei Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, Yongchuan District, Chongqing City, Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province and Houjiang Province, Vietnam. Its main products are industrial packaging kraft liner, corrugated core paper, grey bottom whiteboard, bamboo pulp and household paper. Dr. Li Wenjun not only devotes himself to entrepreneurship and business, but also makes a lot of contributions to public welfare undertakings, such as health, sports, education and culture. Li Wenjun is also a philanthropist and pioneer who is enthusiastic about social welfare and actively promotes the continuous development of medical and health undertakings. Since 1994, he has been elected Prime Minister of Hong Kong Renji Hospital for six consecutive years. He was promoted to vice chairman of the board of directors of the hospital in 2000 and chairman of the board of directors in 2005. During his ten years in office, he personally took charge of the construction of "Renji emergency assistance fund" and has so far distributed more than 18 million Hong Kong dollars to vulnerable groups in urgent need of assistance; he took the lead in donating 5 million Hong Kong dollars to establish "Renji Yongqiang fund for patients with total paralysis", helping hundreds of families out of difficulties.
