Character evaluation
In the era of pluralistic film creation, Zhang Wenxin did not stick to the requirements of political and commercial system, but rediscovered the field of film expression outside the mainstream theme and commercial theme with his own eyes, injected his own thinking, and achieved his own film concept. The documentary expression that director Zhang Wenxin has been pursuing is to use long lens and depth of field lens to directly and deeply touch life, and try to use live shooting or necessary on-site processing, natural lighting, sound and other forms that can objectively restore reality and record reality. Director Zhang Wenxin's concept of reality is not to give up "drama" completely, but to seek a kind of "dramatic" inner reality, which depends on the experience and observation of daily life and the familiarity with the ability of film expression. At the same time, the authenticity of his films comes from the times. Whether it is the scar and cheer of shaou just after the "Cultural Revolution", or the copy of Beijingers' living conditions and values in the reform wave of "Beijing, you are early", they are deeply stained with the strongest flavor of the times. Therefore, Zhang Wenxin's concept of reality is the drama contained in her investigation and understanding of life details, and the combination of drama and the times is her most prominent aesthetic feature (review of Journal of Capital Normal University).
