Chen Yiwen

Chen Yiwen, born in 1966, is a Chinese film actor and director. He graduated from the drama department of the National Academy of Arts in 1991.

A rising star in Taiwan's film industry, he has participated in the production of Yang Dechang's many films. In 1994, he directed the documentary violence documentary, which won the first prize at the Taipei Film Festival and two awards at the Yamagata Documentary Film Festival in Japan. In 1995, his short film lessons from life won the golden harvest award in Taiwan. After that, he began to try to direct feature films. In 1998, the first feature film "jam" won the special jury award of Vancouver Film Festival. In 1999, "want to die now" was selected as the closing film of the 24th Hong Kong International Film Festival. In 2000, "love of the running hand" won the jury award of the 37th Golden Horse Award and the best director of duville Film Festival.
